Ok had to make second comment so I could talk about the bank rod holder. I just order one for carp fishing really but got from wish 22 dollars it's ok little soft ide say meaning no big rods. But if my mom hadn't took my welder when Dad passed ide been making more rod holders for me and to give others the PVC ones I use to make were nice but cost to much to make and give away people are cheap like me. Lol. But the way you made that one ide love that type. I don't mind rides standing up right. But I sit in wheel chair usely unless I'm laying on my trailer I take flat trailer with tool boxes my chair cooler and big light. I got a foam mattress to lay on my side when the pain gets to bad and rods that the tip and butt are off the ground and ready to grab love them. But just wanted to say great builds and thanks. @@FishinNStuff I live in North Louisiana West Monroe used to be great fishing but not any more. So far the catfishing been bad this year due to the floods were had so many last few years. But I'm praying I'm out here by ends year before it's to cold and travel some meet some great people on RU-vid and want to meet alot and fish and spread my kids fishing group. Been giving fishing gear to kids 12 years now but being my daughter just grad and moved out. I'm alone. But just had heart attack so been slow going. Lol yea body said not yet lol. But I am hoping to meet some big catfishing guys and learn more.y biggest cats 40 and I want one bigger. But I do love to watch and I do talk to much sorry but I love fishing. But when I do leave I'm gonna set up desk or work table in my trailer I buy alot older gear I fix and give away so be so cool to go thru every state before I have to quit driving. Then if I'm ok at the end want to live in house boat and just have fun fish and smile. Ok I'll hush sorry. Just figure I keep telling my dream god will no I'm serious and help me half way and I'll show him I'm worth it. You have a good week. Hope you get some big cats this week. Thanks for the chat. Naw well hopefully she goes south here I will visit and fish the gulf before I move I really want to see New Orleans one time and fish. And charge my scooter up full cause I really want to just go all over down there taken pictures and make me video for my channel. Be so cool to make a vidoe of a lake from each state. But if it comes to I can't travel far I will find a better place to live we're fishing better so south Louisiana I'll be headed and being I'll be homeless what ever I'm in if it rains I can drive away no more floods. Yep it's a SeaArk Rivercat 180 cc . I was giving Dieter a hard time lol . Sorry it was so long I would have posted last week but the DIY I was working on wax a fail lol . I try not to post just to be posting , I want good content that helps ppl in some way . I'll tru and be on time from now on lol . Ol and when that boat came in I was so busy going to the bank , insurance company, the DMV , and on and on lol I as I always do really appreciate you commenting brother

You are right , I think the dip is easy more durable. I only used spray because I was trying out so many different ideas , if I were doing all my holders I would use dip

It might work , they say the berliner cuts down the heat some , that's what's in my boat , you can get it in a spray can and I would think it's more durable, at least you would think so

@@FishinNStuff replacing the tongue, making it a tad bit longer, it's bent down and to the side, redoing the bunk boards also, i bought some redwood. making them longer so the boat's not resting on 2 ft bunks

You basically rebuilding the whole trailer, you might as well paint it too lol . I had a older boat that had a repainted trailer and motor cowling, it made a huge difference

Light and compact would something like that work for you

Well I've never been surf fishing, the kind of fishing i do is Catfish, Striper, trout & bass. Don't really usw a rod holder for bass fishing. For the other types i do when i use bait. Any rod holder will do. Thanks for taking the time to respond & take my suggestion into consideration. 👊🎣😎

I haven't been there in years I mostly boat fish now unless I'm kayak fishing . I grew up bank fishing though at Carp lakes or where ever I could . I appreciate you watching brother. @@FishinNStuff Any time man, I love this channel , I am a trucker , been off the road for a while and can't even turn on the TV cause of the garbage on there anymore these days. I look forward to your videos, great content great entertainment and I always learn something new. I picked up fishing this year and got addicted to it. Wife got me a kayak cause I like to go camping and stuff but trucking took it's toll on my legs and knees so I can't hike in deep anymore. The kayak lets me get off grid and camp overnight and looking for accessories prices had me discouraged for a while, thats how I found your channel. I made a light like yours and got the automotive LED brake light bulb a switch and some PVC and saved a fist full of $$$$ feel like I owe you dinner!! Been making all sorts of stuff now rather than throwing the money away.
