@@djs_projects_repairs not true .. I have VXDIAG for my Toyota and could do all of this with cracked Toyota software... It's just so a novice can't have access
I want to disable my DRLs for my 2010 GS350 AWD, not sure how to download windows to macbook but that's all I have. Thank you for showing me this video.
The install is the most difficult process and you do not show especially on the Mac. One it works the rest is self explanatory by the software. The majority of people struggled with the installation!!!!! I already figured it out but that was days in frustration.
This has a higher degree of compatibility. This is also the same software Lexus and Toyota technicians use at the dealer. Carista does not support customization on this particular car, a 2007 Lexus gs350.
Can anyone help please. I bought this. And installed on a windows 7 laptop. I followed the video instructions but the 2nd driver install didn't show me the screen like the video. Now techstream is asking me to register a key. I also am not connected to the internet. No virus protection either.
Thanks for a great video, from what I've seen online it seems like there's no recent updates on this, would this work as well on an es250 2020? And would I be able to customize as much with techstream? I'm planning on configuring the key to start the car remotely, my car does not have this feature as I purchased it from the dealer, your help is much appreciated, thanks!
Is there a way to turn TPMS functionality ON. CanadiaRAV Prime has no TPMS and I would be suprized if they removed the code vice just turning the feature off. Would I be able to use this tool to turn TPMS on for example???
Are you able to disable some of the annoying safety features on the touch screen that well not let you perform certain functions when the car is in motion? Thanks!
Don't believe so unfortunately. I have another video in the description that goes over all the options and I dont think I saw something related to that.
i bought a prius with original fob(locksmith toll me the fob is working) , when i try to turn on, the display show me no key detected. There's a way to use teachstrem to reprogram the fob, maybe the former owner change the ECU
You just need to put a new battery in it. If it’s a 2nd gen, there’s a button for smart key on/off under the steering wheel. You might need to put the key in the slot after putting a new battery in it to get it to reconnect.
I programmed a new (refurblished possibly) smart key on 2010 Lexus RX450 and everything was good except the new key cannot open the truck like the original is. Sometimes this happened on other cars as well but most of the time it worked. Any thoughts?
It is only available on Windows. There are other companies out there that can do the same on Android tablets, like the Carista app but it's a subscription based program, which I'm not a fan of. You can get the toyota software from ebay.
Most likely, not all cars have the same features, but anything automated and any safety stuff and other stuff your car has is customizable, you really just have to get in and check yourself, but it most likely works, and I’m sure there is a decent amount you can customize
I'm able to connect and have i have a list after clicking custom settings, but once I click on any of them I get a blank list pop. I have the latest 14version but my VCI is firmware 1.4 should I install firmware 2?
Hi, I'm trying to get Techstream running off a Virtualbox, but it won't connect to the car with the cable, I'm getting VLC can't be found error. Which WIndows VM did you use, 32 or 64 bit and did you have any of the Service Packs on it? I know these questions are bit off the topic but hope you can help. cheers
Can the software see the cable at all? I want to say I used Windows 7 64bit, with all the patches installed. I don't have my computer in front of me atm, but if it's any different i'll update this post.
I did the cable connectivity check from Help menu, and it is all red, probably the reason why. The cable I got is Original Mini VCI Diagnostic OBD Cable for Toyota Lexus TIS Techstream V13.00.22 but I'm running Techstream V12 (I noticed this now). Will try to get the TS V13.00.22 and see if it helps. Thanks for your reply!
Newest versions of Techstream work on Windows 10. I chose Windows 7 because I didnt want to deal with any incompatibilities. Only until recently did it work on only on Windows 7.
ez|2a oh ok because I am thinking of buying one for my Corolla and the most updated one is version 13 on ebay. So thanks for the help really appreciate it. Also if u got any tips and tricks for me it would be must applied thank you.
WHAT WINDOWS are you running? I have windows 10 64 bit, Version 12.20.024 didn't work for me. I found this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nc0jfjhN3FY.html I googled and found there's version 13. I am trying it now.
