could you possibly do a more extensive tutorial on the scipter tool and all its functionality. feel like theres so much potential for quest and dungeon bosses that can spawn minions, heal themselves, change form and stuff but have no idea how to figure it out
You did a Great Work with these Series, really nice Job, just maybe two things, one is maybe you could show us how to erase a blueprint/schematic from the copy block and maybe show the predetermined buildings (I ask this because Im havin issues with the predetermined building of "Guard Tower", it doesn't seem to show up) The second thing would be, maybe, teach us how to script in the mod (I've seen some tutorials but I think maybe one made by you would be so much better) Thanks in advance, and sorry for so much writing 🙃
It's an idea, definitively considered it. But I did the tutorial on this because I consider myself an expert with the base mod mechanics, and there's clearly defined functionality to learn about. With scripting, I'd still consider myself a beginner (even though I have used it before), and I wouldn't know where to start or even what to teach since scripting has more specific goals and ideas. And nah man, I appreciate long comments like this on anything I work on. I value feedback. :)
You can use the pather to change the NPCs home as well. Just right click the ground (if the GUI doesn't pop up move close to the NPC and right click) and delete the first position
I need help with 1.16.5 quest starting command. If I use the for ex noppes quest start @p 1 in my console everything works just fine but if I do it on command block it doesn't work at all. Any conditioning doesnt matter because the most important command won't start from the command block. Any ideas what to do about it? Any other command seems to work on command block
@@Yellow768 you should showcase other mods, I myself am interested in rp mods but since i know you do actually good videos I'd support whatever content tbh
@@Alecscs See, the thing is I only have extensive knowledge about CustomNPCs. The other mods I used for my map Daruma weren't nearly as complex. I used quark, bibliocraft, decocraft, improved backpacks and hungerstrike. Most of those just added new blocks for decoration, hungerstrike was to remove the hungerbar, and improved backpacks was only for backpacks. I am active in the cnpc discord, and saw a lot of the same questions so I figured I should make a tutorial for it. I don't really use other mods. Now, there are some preliminary plans to do some scripting tutorials, but not much has come of it yet.
@@Yellow768 i get it, i wouldn't know what to do either to be honest. Either way, your tutorials are really nice and straight to the point, i like that.
I still haven't found an answer but if anyone could help that'd be great. When I leave my server, all the npcs despawn. Is there a way to keep them here. I can still hear them but cant interact. The wand also tells me "cant find npc" when O try to edit them. Thanks
i dont get it on how you did the automatic quest why is there a number 1 after the first command block and why is there a 2 on the second one and what is the thing u typed that cuts
I think the only thing that might be affecting it is cubicchunks because for some reason after exiting the editing menu they disappear and are 60000 blocks up at the surface but im at y level -60000 do you know if there is any support for this?@@Yellow768
You'll have to replace it with the execute command, which is a lot more robust than testfor but might require some more figuring out. www.reddit.com/r/MinecraftCommands/comments/c27tqt/testing_if_a_player_is_in_a_radius/ minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Commands/execute
