Pre-Chronicles SEGA made some Hatsune Miku Vocaloid characters that looks like Nendroids and they also play Puyo Puyo. Then Chronicles is born, they had same designers of the models that made them like Vocaloid Nendroids too.
The altered Puyo Puyo Tetris music in Yakuza 6 is likely NEWER, and a conscious effort to remove musical references to Tetris (especially in the title screen and Fever music).
10:05 It sound like someone forgot the notes so they made it up on the fly and hearing it throws me off but I do find the different instruments interesting to hear. It's an interesting alternative to what we're used to listening.
I never thought expected or even thought about Puyo Puyo content but then again, every game has some. This video’s great! It was nice to see cut content from Puyo Puyo Tetris since that’s the only one I got to play so far, as well as 2.

The final versions are good too, but these are honestly better.
I can't understand why everybody is talking about Puyo Puyo, but not about Madō Monogatari. IT'S THE SAME GAME SERIES! And yes, Puyo Puyo is a spinoff.
People like to hoard prototypes in order to maintain their value. It's the bane of game preservationists because the development cartridges these prototypes are stored on are prone to failure.
