Best Cricut video ever. No time wasted and useful tips. Thank you

I am using the 24" mat. I find that I must support the infeed to keep the mat straight. A curved mat puts a shear on the fabric/mat interface when it droops down, keeping it flat helps with adhesion. Still learning, trying to cut canvas with limited results. Thanks for the vid!

I must have a bad batch of Steam & Seam. Adhesive side not sticking to the fabric. Totally tore up in my Cricut Maker, tried twice. Paper seperated & shredded up in Maker. Had nothing to do with mat not clearing on the back side. Was so hopeful. Glad it seems to work for others. Really think its my Steam & Seam Lite 2. It won't stick even when trying to do by hand. Back to Heat N Bond Lite. Was trying to find something lighter weight. I find it is all trial & error when cutting fabric on Maker.

Out of the various different techniques ive checked out here on youtube, I'm using your method. Thank you. It was a great feeling when I succeeded on my second try. Thankfully I took your advice and split the project onto two mats. You did good work.

Love the tutorial. I've had a circuit maker for at least a year, but haven't tried it out because I'd heard it won't cut fusible web + fabric. Imagine my delight when I found your video! I'm a big appliqué person, love steam-a-seam, and I might even want to try this out since it worked so well for you. thank you!

Thank you for this. I'll be trying this out at some point, when I've taken a deep breath. I also need to try cutting a pattern where woven interfacing has been applied - so fingers crossed!

I’m curious. Did you experiment with fusing the fusible to the fabric before cutting? I wonder whether it would still cut in that scenario.

Where did you get your bunny fabric? I have a friend who has looked everywhere and can’t find anything like this. I’d love to be able to tell her where to look. Thanks!

I found this fabric at Michaels in a pack of fat quarters last year. It is super cute! Happy hunting!

Will this work with Heat n Bond?

I've only personally worked with Steam a Seam brand specifically, but I found this article: quiltinggallery.com/2012/05/03/an-overview-on-fusibles which states "HeatnBond adhesive sheets can be run through your manual or computerized die-cut systems, such as AccuQuilt®, Cricut®, Silhouette®, Sizzix Eclipse® and more!" Pat says it's okay, so I bet this will work too! Good luck!

Can you do this on the Air machine?

I don't have the Air so I'm not 100% certain, but I saw a tutorial here on RU-vid that shows the Air cutting fabric with Heat N Bond, which is a similar product. It looks like it should work!
