Cut or Carry: Spyderco Native 5 Review 

Of all the video reviews I’ve watched on the Native 5 lightweight, yours is the first with an issue with the back lock.

The Native 5 comes in some even higher end steels, such as Maxamet and S110V.

Love the blade look on the Native 5, I have the CF S90V after buying a Para3LW decided the g10 is the one for me also agree with your opinion on the back lock, I edc this knife pretty often and my favorite lock is the compression lock, the Sage CL is not the same as the Native 5. IMO

My back lock on mine is very drop shutty and super smooth, but I will say I’ve had mine for over a year but is stupid smooth. I have zero issues with the things you stated as the negative, also I’m sure are all a little different. Great video though!

The swage on that blade looks awesome though. Prettiest blade on the table to me. But I agree with everything you said about it, function wise.

Golden Colorado U.S.A., Earth is stamped on the blade designating where it's made.

Feels cheap because US manufacturing equipment and quality control is more expensive than Taiwan or China, not to mention that both of those countries have access to better and cheaper technology. That's the sad really. In 2021 , US made doesn't mean better quality, it just means more jobs for US citizens.
