Spyderco is one of the greatest knife companies if not the greatest knife company in history. They have been making legitimate hard working knives is all fields for many many years and they are just getting better. Also, that tune you were humming is the Indians Jones theme song
I love spydeco! I have manix 2, Shaman, Yojimbo, Ronin 2, paramilitary 2, and street bowie. Everyone of those knives is amazing and Spyderco is everything people say they are!
One of my favorite knives in my collection! However I personally have not been impressed with the S45VN. My manix 2 in S30V has required less maintenance. Thanks for the video !
I like the s45vn 👍, S35VN too . Actually I haven’t noticed much difference with these super steels . To me , it’s kinda like how they build hype for new cartridges for guns . Always comparing to the tried and true cartridges like 30.06 . Yes , they’re better but only at one thing . It’s a sales tactic to get us excited . Still , I like to see it .👍
I wonder how Spyderco’s S45VN performs against Reeves and Hinderer? The blade geometry of Reeve’s would be more compatible. Was the S45VN was as good as 15V?
That would be an interesting comparison. My XM18 is in S45VN, maybe I will do a battle. With the regrind it’s a good cutter It was pretty close, but it seems like 15V held a sticky edge for a little longer.
@@doodysdaggers Depends on Heat Treat and the grind. My Hogue Ritter Mini RSK MK1-G2 in CPM Magnacut has incredible edge retention. It's with Scab now looking forward to seeing how it holds up. My Spartan Blades Pallas in S35VN has held up great. Only needing stropping. Even after Scab had it.
