I love the picture idea. I have a 4" ball to use, would I need to cut the fabric strips larger?

You could use larger strips, or just place them further apart, OR add an extra layer surrounding your picture. :)

Do you line up the bottom edge of triangles on the equator?

Roughly, but I don't worry if it's not perfect. I worry more about the lines down the center of the triangles like I talked about in the video, and then I trim any excess or uneven fabric at the equator if necessary.

Hi Tina... I do! It's by Dear Stella. I think it was called Cats and Fishbowls but I can't remember for sure. I am sold out of it but I believe I've seen it on Etsy. I hope that helps!
