This just made my heart hurt. Dogs are family. How could anyone just dump a family member? Thank you for being so passionate about finding dogs a home and sharing their stories. You are a gem!
I'm so glad everything went well. I get nervous every time my "little" one gets put under. I hate it and get so anxious, but then that sweet, happy reunion always melts my heart. Camper deserves that awesome new bed and plenty of treats.
Nikki, you probably the only person, who made me cry. And not the bad way. I wish, I could have a granddaughter like you. But it’s to late for that.73 yrs here.
I only discovered the channel a week or so ago and have probably seen 30 or so videos already. I can’t get enough of her. She is stunning, naturally so. Probably looks better without makeup and has an infectious personality. Did I mention I thought she was stunning?
Your grandpa is Precious! “Just watch my grand daughter’s video so she can buy me a new car😂😂” And, there were 3 of those dogs that I wish I could adopt!!! 😢
Aww. So great to see a real dog owner who truly loves her dog. I have a rescue Pitbull and I can't imagine my life without him. He's my best buddy, hiking buddy, adventurer and co-pilot. We live full time in an RV and he loves this lifestyle. He's my #1 and I spoil him more than I spoil myself. :-)
Love these videos!! So happy Camper came out of surgery ok and is doing good!! I can’t wait to see more of his adventures! I just adopted a German Shepard mixed dog from our shelter. They was going to put him down because he bit the owner. I will say who ever had him mistreated him from the behavior I’ve seen. I went to sweep the floor when he seen the broom he coward down. I had to lay the broom on the floor and sit with him for him to realize I won’t hurt him. He hasn’t tried to bit me or been aggressive. He will not let anyone around him or me! So it’s just me & him and his name is Chips so I’ve been calling him chip chip or chipper!! So anyone looking for an animal please try adoption first, they deserve an amazing life or at least the chance to have one 🐶💙
Awww, Chip! My first rescue dog was a German Shep, mix. Was also abused and could only walk on 3 legs. It takes so much time and care to gain that trust back from them but it’s so worth it. Thank you for giving that sweetie such a loving home!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You mentioned Camper's surgery in the last video, I'm glad you posted this one. Good idea having the vet explain the issue. I'm also glad you showed the pups who need forever homes. All our animals are rescues. I can't, for the life of me, understand how someone can give up a dog after a year or more. Hell, I've tried to foster dogs, and I felt like it would have been less painful to rip my own heart out than to give the dog away. Poor Camper and the cone of shame. Give him a hug! Take care!
U got this camper. Yet another informative video. Folks if you are getting a pet, please research what is required, from baths, food, hair, maintenance, exercise, where will they sleep, etc. Pets are not a tangible item. Pets are a family member. Period. They maybe in our lives for a small period of time, but for them, u r their everything. Warm wishes to the both of u.
I'm so happy that there are people in this world like you. I love animals and I believe you are doing something wonderful. I love your Grand parents they are so sweet. Please keep smiling and being a bright light in this world. I can't wait to see your next video.
As a settled father/grandfather in the uk I have been watching your vlogs with some envy. I totally admire what your doing and understand why and thank you for sharing it. It’s something I’ve always had an underlying desire to do and have encouraged my children ( grownup now) to do so if ever they wish or get the chance. Taking life back to basics makes us more in tune with the planet to which we are only guardians of and makes us more appreciative selfless and generally well rounded individuals. Sharing that love with the creatures around us is god given and massively beneficial. My dog has been a saviour to me since having PTSD many years in frontline emergency care and the simplicity of a walk with him brings endless joy. Watching your journey is a total breath of fresh air. I appreciate we only get a certain view point of you but I do believe it reflects a beautiful person both inside and out. I’m sure your street wise and have camper but do take care and stay safe.
I'm not gonna lie, I found this channel because of Camper. Your finding of Camper vid popped up in my timeline and I'm now hooked. Camper is so cute. As someone who volunteers at a rescue (JRs pups-n-stuff rescue), I love all the real talk about rescue animals.
Glad to know that Campers surgery went well. I believe your worries about anesthesia are shared by pretty much all animal owners. Thank you for your videos. I love your energy and how you can laugh at yourself are refreshing. “Single and ready to mingle” 😆 Any one would be lucky to be with such a kind hearted person ❤️
The waiting is the hardest part when theyre away from you at the vet! Im so glad you caught it early and hes getting the help he needs. Thank you for the awesome work you're doing with pet rescue! When I decide my heart is ready for another big dog I'll deffo be adopting
Hi, Nikki, I just found your channel by accident the other day and I am now hooked on your channel. I binge watched everything yesterday. Camper is so adorable and I love how you love him. Also, in this video your Grandpa is so cute, I just want to pack him up and take him home with me.
WELCOME TO ROYAL PALM BEACH!!! Imagine my surprise to find you literally in my neighborhood! I just discovered your channel a few days ago. I was intrigued when I saw you lived in a Primus. Loved the video where Camper found you. Thank you for giving him a good home. Also loved when you and your mom took the road trip.
I miss my 2 Labradors so much Nikki. Both reached a great age and they loved each other as well. The second was a rescue dog and to this day don't understand why somebody gave her up but happy she came into my life at the age of about 7. Leo the first was a puppy and later lost his best friend a Burmese cat (she was 17) lol. Rescue animals are fantastic as they are Vet checked and an assessment to see if they are safe and healthy enough to adopt. Love these great creatures
Thanks again for another great miss delventhal so relaxing after driving the highway and cold weather You and camper be safe stay healthy and enjoy life to the fullest Keep bringing great video's
You are such a beautiful person (outward and Inward) and you bring joy to a lot of people. You are so good for Camper and it was so good of you to let him sleep with you that first night following surgery.
Nikki you are an INSPIRATION!!! I lost my job due to the pandemic. Since then, I’ve started a RU-vid channel on Money… And it is growing!!! Thanks for all of your great content, and to everyone else… Never give up!!!
I seen your Dec 27th video about living in a Prius, Q and A, thus before the 12 minute mark, I studied you personality and I must say that I had you pegged for being and touring agency person and/ or touring guide; ABSOLUTELY!!! I kid you not! Tweetie, you have a very bubbly and warm hearted personality and it shows 120 percent. I have known and met two people of your same caliber that is most fitting of what those folks are truly made of. One lady up in the Boston area was a tour guide for folks that were well off and she also provided tours for folks that weren't quite so wealthy but never the less, she was damned good at it! Another lady that I had met was a touring office owner that was also drop-dead gorgeous, just like yourself and she too was pretty darned good at what she did! The fact that you have some videography and photography experience, and you love traveling, has to be a novel approach of virtually most of what you do best! Not to say that lack much of anything because you whole heartedly do all these things in a fantastic manner! You even kind of remind me of the girlfriend that I had back in high school, but she was a farm girl that loved to play guitar. I have no doubt that you will be successful in most if not all that you will do. P.S. I drive older cars just like you do! My finally had to give up my 2003 Saturn Ion because of all the rust that goes on because of salt here in PA. But now that Prius is serving you well but I must warn you that those electric batteries tend to give up the ghost around the 6 year /or around 90K miles and they are not one bit cheep. I believe that they cost around $3600 dollars for replacement, not including the labor cost, but around $5K total bill. Even the power generation plant that recharge the batteries are not cheap! And so, once you get up around 75,000 miles, you better sell it outright or make absolutely sure that you squirrel away a lot of money for future repairs. The over all reliability of a Prius is pretty good but you need to prepare yourself for eventualities. Cheers!
Nikki... I would like to ask you how Camper has enriched your life, because I know he has. I had a cat I had for almost 17 years she was diabetic for the last 4.. sadly she died in December...my heart was totally broken..i'm even crying typing this...she was my princess and my very special friend... I live alone, but never ever felt alone when she was with me...I always told her I loved her and said to her...It's me and you against the world my princess...I loved the years I managed to have with her and miss her so much...I can see that you treasure the time you have with Camper...long may it last xxxx
Really pleased that you are taking care of Campers hernia,. She looked so cute sleeping sat up bless her. I was in tears when you told the story about Ellie. Giving her up after 5 yrs , how could they do that. I also have a little rescue dog called Ellie and is the same age as the one in your video, and my Ellie was also abandoned, but even if she had turned out to be the most naughtiest dog I wouldn't/ couldn't give her up on a bond of 5 yrs, how confused that poor dog must have felt. I really hope Nala is still available when you decide on your bigger home, she was amazing. On a lighter note, your Granddad is so lovely, he just makes you smile. Stay Safe, hope Camper makes a full recovery . hugs UK
Aww, I am sooo with you! Thank you, I really hope Nala finds a loving family but also secretly am totally okay with coming back for her the day I get a larger rig! =)))
That was a great video & really get the adoption message you promote about pets! At the beginning of the covid crisis, my good friend Nancy moved to a new apartment that discouraged pets & I took in one of her 2 cats, a 10 year old beautiful Himalayan cat 'Bubby.' He is now family and is a loveable buddy! It's truly amazing how much happiness he brings to my life. Keep up the good work Nikki!
Nikki, you are an AWESOME young woman. I am also a Priuse owner and my pup is a rescue (which had parvo, at the time). She was 8 weeks old and now going on 6 years young. Keep up the good work.😄🐶🐾🐶
Thank you for being so beautiful inside and out helping fur babies is the most humane need of the hour. I can relate to you so well though your amazing life as I live in a secluded jungle with my 7 dogs and
I just saw your channel on you tube and i love your channel. I am a mother of 2 grown men and retired and watching your channel. I live in New York and i hope you pass by NYC again. Love your Camper!!
Awesome find Nikki and second opinions. Camper is lucky to have you or have each other. Nice on making Camper s car seat, I love it. Stay beautiful and safe. Say hello to Gramps, you know I have a soft spot for him. Kev

God Bless you Both I love watching your channel I enjoy seeing you at your families homes .. your Grandpa is so funny and your Nanna sweet 🍓I’m glad everything went well with Camper. I have no children
Great video. Happy Camper had successful surgery. No longer a worry. Love the "single and ready to mingle". Once I am ready, I will be adopting. Went from a pack of 3 to 0. Camper is such a happy and adorable PUPPY!!!! If in Ohio stop by and say Hi...
those faces that u make... its really very super noble of u to give us the credit for donations out of ad revenues, its totally u who'll do that. cause setting up the camper cares is already such a noble, responsible thing to do, then to fund it with ur earnings...
I'm so happy to hear that camper is doing better. You touched on a subject that really makes me mad. I hate hearing about dogs that people just dump because they don't want them anymore. AAARRRGGGHHH!!! I've been around dogs and animals all my life. Most of my dogs have been rescues, and they were the best dogs I've had. But then all of my dogs were good.
I enjoy watching you and camper, yes if you can please adopt a dog or cat so many animals need a forever home, thank for all you need do Nikki, you and camper stay safe.
Hey Nikki, I live in West Palm Beach and my rescue Aussie, Ranger and I were signed up to run the Justin Bartlett’s 5K last March. Then it was cancelled due to Covid.. We were so bummed! Ranger is my running buddy and I think we could have placed ! Thanks for sharing info about their rescue and showing the adoptive dogs! Camper is such a sweetie. So glad you finally received the correct diagnosis and he is on his way to recovery! Dogs bounce back so fast! You can tell how much he loves his human !♥️
I live in Seoul Korea n I enjoy ur channel specially ur bond with camper with so much love n affections it's energizing to watch over n over kudos to both of you
Hi Nikki, there is a reason you and Camper are staying in Florida with your wonderful grand parents and it is a good one. You may just never know what it is. Hugs to you both and a speedy recovery to Camper!
With the weather & storms out west where we were going to head and something that I’ll show y’all in an episode in a couple weeks, I’m with you. Quite the Silver lining. :-) xoxoxox
@@NikkiDelventhal Yes it is! Have you found your way to Big Sur, California? And in general the coast from Santa Barbara, CA up to Northern Ca, and then through Oregon, WA to Vancouver? Just stunning and wonderful for camping. And if you do, let me know, maybe my sweet cocker spaniels can meet Camper (we live in the Santa Cruz Mountains west of San Jose, CA).
Is Grandpa adopted more grandchildren? He's the best, and funny! it was really nice to see a vet that will let you put them on RU-vid with good info. Only 29 videos... wow you're doing great! best wishes from me and the 14.5 y.o. adventure dog. ( a shelter pup)
My first pup (Rudy) had a hernia, then developed cancer, don't know if it was related from it. The Vet said that the hernia was alright and not an issue, unless, he started to itch it--which he never did. We believe that the hernia developed into something more, and when he got really sick, at 7 years old, the test said cancer too, so we believe that the hernia was more. We had to put him to sleep. :( Rudy was a Shep mix with Collie. Then we got another Shep, (Cori), she lived to be over 12 years, good long life for a Shep. Might have lived longer, but she had a severe reaction rabies and other shots when it was time to be re-licensed. Now, we have, what we believe is a Full Shep, she (Ruby) loves to cuddle and hug--a mix of what our other pups were. Loves the tummy rubs and her toys--She likes to line up her toys in the yard like a parade of animals, at times. Like the two before, a rescue, but we were told she wouldn't be more than 40 pounds and was thin and bones when we got her---which is tiny for a G Shep and approx 2 years old. That was two years ago. Now she is almost double in size that is why we believe she is a full G Shep! Rescue dogs are very loyal and sweet and YES, they find their families! ;)
You are such a good person. Your Camper is a "champ" who loves going to the Vet. Also, my heart breaks for all those animals who were tossed out of homes, how could they. I have to wonder where the empathy is and the love of an animal comes in for some. I don't know anybody whose had an animal or two would do that.
