Let's take a little time to admire the amazing thing that happens when you cut a big houseplant into smaller plants and then propagate them in water. It's one of the best parts about houseplants and we are going to dive pretty deep in the plant propagation waters on this video.
Did I mention that we'll also have a bonus houseplant repotting in this video? That's right. Once I propagate my baby houseplants I grow them in greenhouse tubs on the shelf until they are ready to be placed into their new forever home pots and I've got a rex begonia that's been begging for a repotting for at least a few months now.
Last but not least I want to mention how enriching and amazing it can be to pay attention to the tiny things in life. The things like how cutting a houseplant and putting those cuttings in a tiny bit of water will eventually produce roots and then even a whole new houseplant ready for a potting.
