@@LuiVee_. No I don't think they rot they just become dead I guess like straw. You can keep reattaching them if you'd like they actually sell real hair extensions to do the same thing with for those with short dreadlocks
Congratulations on reaching your goal on these 5 year old locs. Your new loc journey will be amazing when you stick to having a full head of locs. This is why you shouldn't ever cut your locs into under cut locs. Whatever you do don't get the impulse to undercut the dreads again. You will be amazed on how you like your new set of locs . Peace,Love,Sunshine & positivity. 🧔🌻✌☮✡🐳
Dude I'm excited for this. I started my dreads in September because of your channel and LazyDreads. Now I can watch yours mature as well as mine!! Unfortunately your hair is starting from a shaved head so it will take a minute before it starts dreading but I'm excited to watch!!!
Thank you man, went through the same stages, I had combed my fringe as well, and I had the same feelings towards them. You inspired me to restart, thanks again.
I cut mine off in February just from impulse and a bad day, i gave myself a skin head but left 8 dreads on the back of my head, currently on my hair growth journey to get my dreads back 😅
I've enjoyed watching your dreads grow since I found your channel about two years ago. I've taken the Nazarite vow (a vow in the Bible) which means you can't cut your hair anymore. I'm debating whether to just let my hair grow and comb it or to grow freeform dreads. Here's a link to my latest video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-I6EwRwIYUac.html I look forward to seeing you grow your dreads again and if I decide to grow some we'll be at similar stages of growth (from shaved head) so will be interesting to see how they both end up. Thanks and take care.
I thought the actual vow was to not cut OR comb your hair. Not either or. Thats why all rastas have dreadlocks and most have really long or thick ones.
@@rebd00mer93 The Bible verses on the Nazarite vow say nothing about not combing your hair. It only says that you can't cut it. The rabbinic laws (oral Torah) might state you can't comb your hair but I don't follow them. I only follow what's written in the Bible.
@@age891 , you are correct. Thank you for sharing. The part I got mixed up on was the combing and that part comes from the rasta's wish to keep the body in its natural state. And now I've gotten smarter. Thanks!!
Hey jack. When you were freeforming your dreads, did you get them wet in the shower on the days that you weren't going to shampoo? I shampoo 1x a week and I was getting my hair wet on the days between but I've heard you're not supposed to.
