I was growing my roots out along with you, then I got inpatient and just cut all my dyed hair off. I spent 10+ years dying and bleaching my hair so i’m learning to embrace my natural colour and hair, it’s been hard to not hide behind my bright hair but i’m looking forward to the journey 💖
I've also been growing out my natural hair since about August of last year! I feel like I'm in the same boat as you- only close to half of natural regrowth. The rest I use semi permanent dye or pigmented conditioner to make it a brownish color. I'll fuck with bleach any day... but I'm not ready to fuck with permanent or Demi permanent. I have the underneath of my hair bleached and I will probably keep that for a long time just to have some fun with colors.

It’s so worth it to cut off the damage, because damaged hair just splits higher and higher and those fresh ends will stop it. I’ve finally cut all my damaged bleached hair off - it took four years! - and now my hair is so much shinier and every style looks better.
That was so satisfying, looks way better! I cut a bunch of my hair off last December and you're right, it takes so long to grow it out! But it's absolutly worth it to see the hair healthy again ♡
i just cut about 15-20 cm off, hadn’t had a haircut since june 2020 either and it was about damn time! luckily my hair is still long but definitely bleach damaged!

Girl! Everytime I do a health treatment to my hair I always end up cutting it. Seems like when I dye my hair a lot my hair feels amazing. When I stop it feels horrible. Your gorgeous however you have your hair 🖤🖤

Girl I’m wanting to cut my hair but my fibromyalgia is not letting me. I have over 3 feet of hair & I was bleaching it for a few years living my best colourful hair life lol I haven’t bleached it in a year just been doing colour conditioners now I’m wanting to take about a foot off. Bonjour je te conseille le produit blow tox de myriam k , je l’applique à chaque shampooing. Je le mets , je le laisse poser 30 minutes et je sèche mes cheveux et je lisse mes cheveux au steampod de l’ oreal a 170 degrés maximum . C est de la keratine. Le produit coute 200 euros mais j en aurais pour 6 mois je pense . J ai les cheveux cassés. Et le produit répare les cheveux complètement brûlé c est le seul produit qui a sauvé mes cheveux. i did the exact same thing !! my goal was waist long platinum hair but the breakeage i had was just SO TERRIBLE ive cut my hair into a mullet and most of it black. its so hard having healthy bleached hair and liking to switch colour every two weeks bc you always need change. i feel so much better now !!! so happy you did this too❤️ hope youll fully enjoy your fresh new start ily
It looks so nice! I did the same thing recently, because all my back curly hair was to my shoulder bones, and the front was shoulder length, it looks and feels so much better! I haven't bleached it for over a year! I put blue on the blonde and left it, but it's so difficult now, because i know how hard it is to remove blue, i do love blue but i want it lighter, because i have slowly darkened it by reapplying the blue for the year, and i have a fewer greys in the dark part, so i have asked the hairdresser who is a friend, if i can have it all bleached, so i want the dark blue mids and ends, lightening up (i bought the colour remover you had suggested) but im now scared to use it! So i want light turquoise, and the ends are dark turquoise blue, so if my hairdresser bleached my roots and added blue, it would be lighter on the roots and darker ends, i want it the other way round, can you possibly give me any advice? 🤔 I can't send pictures here but you really know your shit! Im also in the uk 🇬🇧 so certain items i can't get x
this has convinced me to finally cut my hair after growing it out for 2 years too (i buzzed it in 2020 lol) but i also have some breakage and unevenness from bleaching and dying so i will give myself a trim 😩 wish me luck 🤩
I need to cut my hair but I’ve been avoiding it because that back lol. My hair was so easy to cut myself when it was short but it’s like medium length, maybe on the shorter end of long now.

I’m also on a hair growth and hair health journey, I had to do a lot of chops and it was painful. I’m in a weird stage where my hair is this weird length, a little past my collarbone. Currently in school and my goal is to not cut my hair until I graduate. 1.5 years to go, I have had my hair short for the past 3 years so this is the longest my hair has been and it’s hard to resist the urge to cut it off.
Girl I legit am in the same situation and just cut a bob a little over a month ago. Then last week after straightening my synthetic wig (450) I accidentally straightened my hair and fried the ends again. 😭😭 but it still feels better you can definitely tell a difference, but I legit we had the same hair situation lol my hairdresser always complained

My hair is doing the same thing but my hair is much longer. I can definitely tell one side of my hair is at least an inch longer than the other 😭 I don’t even know why. I cut it to my collarbones (pretty much where you cut it) a year and a half ago and it’s grown out past my boobs already but for some reason one side is breaking off. And I only bleach the front part of my hair. Blonde bangs and dark brown for the rest. I rarely ever apply heat to my hair as well. And I have an inch 1/2 of grow out in the front where I bleach…. So annoying 😭 I’m gonna have to cut some off too…
