Cutting Room Floor Weapons Vehicles and Characters 

It's amazing to see how a lot of these were added to halo later on. Engineers, mongoose, the kestrel added in spartan strike, flame thrower. The strike fighter was the precursor to the sabre in reach and even though the drinol and blind wolf were never added to the games they played important roles in books set in the 343 era

It's kind of incredible how many of the creature designs are direct descendants of things from the Marathon Trilogy. The Hulk, the Trooper, the Bug...

Is the doozy an early prototype of the sparrow from destiny?

I remember watching this bonus disk over and over, wishing some of this stuff made it into the game. Of course when the Mongoose was in Halo 3 - Instant Joy.

Some sweet things that came into Halo 3

@DarkNep Yeah it did however make it into Halo 1 PC and Halo 3 and ODST as a weapon (although in Halo 1 PC it wasn't a support class weapon like in Halo 3 alongside the Gun Turret and Plasma Turret).

The Drinol and Doozy looks like something from the concept art in Destiny. Maybe we'll finally get to see them.

Damn they had a mongoose in Halo 2 too!!! Too bad they didn't get it in there. They should put some of this stuff in Reach.

@zeffey413 Engineers were programmed in Halo, just not actually put in the game Flamethrowers were in Halo 1 PC

i actuallly bought the halo 2 collectors edition and saw this when it came out!!!

its funny how these vehicles that "didnt fit into halo 2" reappeared in halo 3 and reach.

good to see they didnt just throw away their ideas and put some of them into halo3 and odst later

Maybe they'll take some of these old designs, revamp them, and then put them into Halo Reach, or a possible Halo 4.

Some of these ideas should be be put in future Halo games now.

i would love to see the doozy as a covenant mongoose lol. doubt its gona be in reach though and who knows how long it will be till the next halo game after that.

@1993DJC Yeah I think the Kestrel was what became the Hornet later on. The Drinol could very well be what the Gueta was inspired by (big enemy, only encountered once, has massive claws for smashing things with). So I'd say you probably aren't that far off.

@Yellowcard7777 oh and u can play the halo games on 360 buy getting the original cd or xbox live download :) and the grafix are slightly improved when u play any old game on 360

Halo: Before The Fall

Why didn't Bungie decide to make a Halo game for just the first one like graphics and it is for the Xbox 360 and It had all the stuff they took out and every gun they took out just to have fun in this game! ;) This would of made like no sence like put no story in it just like a big testing field for people that want to try them so much!

the origional flamethrower was so muchg better

couldn't Bungie do a sequel of halo 1 (mac), CE and halo 2, to the 360, but without changing the way the story unfolds, so it would be the same game but with halo 3 or higher graphic. keep a low res multiplayer in the halo 2 sequel, don't change the Mark V in halo CE and so on. Do the same games, but upgraded to fit the 360.
