Just wait til Colette learns bead rolling sheetmetal, I imagine she'll want all kinds of neat designs to clean up an interior and firewall. (Looking forward to seeing the build, very cool idea, hope the FC gets a DualClutch too😅)
depending on whether you mean the front plate or just the little cover, you can probably get one of those made by hand in your shop- I make parts like that all the time
Looking soooo good Collete! Getting a real bang out of all the other guys in the shop are so jealous of your wicked engine bay!🤣Can't wait to see it done🤪....so you can rub it in there faces😉....LOL🤣JK🥰
You made a subscriber out of me with the rotary builds, glad to see them back. Hopefully you'll be behind the wheel of something again racing... I have two daughters and try to get them watching you, they love when you are at the track and let little people in the cars when you have some down time. Was it accidental or on purpose that Chris was filmed during the whole video with his zip down? Is this going to be the next Itasha?
Biggest decision is going to be what sweet House of Kolor colour to paint this soon to be beast. A few to look at. Maybe Voodoo violet: hoc kk22 CO2 Teal: hoc uk15 qo1 Hot pink pearl: hoc pbc39 qo1 Ice violet: hoc ipiio4 co1
You can save yourself an awful lot of work later on . If you're careful when you cut out the transmission tunnel . You can use your old tunnel to make the new one . I've done it before where all I did was weld in a inch-and-a-half piece of flat steel in between the floor and the tunnel .
I'd highly recommend using ramboard from Lowes or home depot instead of cardboard boxes, it's single layer cardboard that comes in a giant roll for the cheap and it's a lot easier to work with
U gotta do some type of body work on the engine bay so wen it's painted it will be smooth and loook soo fucking good cricket and chris absolutely killed it
show us your true inner understanding of mechanical engineering and beautiful looking surface color displayed on this contoured body. hell ya girl, show the world your gift.
All u need is someone with a plasma table to cut the material for the motor plate then take the front cover and out line it and cut that out and trim as needed
Really cool, but I would have just bead rolled the sheet piece that was welded in instead of making it a separate piece. Bead rolling is a great way to add some strength to a flat sheet, plus it looks really cool when done correctly.
ABSOLUTELY ! BC has been doing R&D for the s13 (Nissan 240sx) suspension for a pretty decent time now. And their coil overs are for sure, One of the best out there, and also "ONe of the best prices , for the quality , around the world" . Whether you want to grip race and / or drive, drift, circuit style race , or just have a reliable, " coil over " , that you can put your life on the line with some, "spirited driving" and Just trust overall then you definitely want to check out some BC Racing Coilovers. you can compare BC coil overs [quality as well as price , plus or minus 2-300 dollars] with all the most common brands like HKS, TEIN, Ksport, Silvrs, and i guess some of the higher end Megan racing coils would fall in around the same price . . (1000-1500) then there are Fortune auto which are also fully customizable just like BC, However; they are a quite bit more expensive. (2000-2400) And lets put in one more brand like ISR Performance which are also very capable coil overs. I believe they have recently came out with a , "pro performance" , series which isn't fully customizable but you can pick a couple different spring rates. and these ISR brand run a little bit less expensive . (750-1000) If you are going to be checking out coil overs , these ar he brands i would check out. With BC [in my opinion] being one of the very top. ****Also the prices I listed are just approximate . . but they will give you somewhat of an idea what , " capable coil overs" that are made for spirited driving and give you the strength, durability, and even rideability, and drivability that some of the very cheap brands that produce coils (under 600) would not do for you. peace Eturn
Super cool. Love the look and the whole idea of the build. Hate to be this guy, y’all should have definitely used weld through primer on all of that. Rust is inevitable anyways and the fact there was really no precaution taken for it is concerning but it will be fine for a while
Idk about collette but i know of one particular person who ways knows where to find rotary parts at a premium. Hes a god within the rotary world, he is rob dahm
It`s been a while since you`ve messed with Adam btw. No makeover in the plan? I`ve saw some midnight purple steering wheel covers, gear knobs and dash covers...there might be a car in his collection that REALLY needs the EXTRA attention 🤣🤣
Collette? Question. Are there any gay RU-vidrs that do a similar content that you or Adam do? From grass roots to professional, any Motorsport. I would love to support them, it’s just hard to find. I love your style, and positive vibes, it shows through everything you do. 🏁
Nope! Only immature as fuck for stating shit like that out! (you are 5th) 1. Nobody cares, not even your mother! Did she kiss you on the butt after that amazing achievement? 2. Being #1, 10, 100 or 1000 gives you nothing at all. 3. Did you win anything else but a bigger EGO? 4. Not even a seven year old child finds that shit funny 5. Ppl found that shit funny back in 2019^^ Fun fact. 99.9% of everyone claiming "first" is not even close^^
@@nzuncovered1845 They didn't show the change of welding wire either (different types for MIG and MAG) You can weld sheet metal with wire for stainless but not the other way around.
