Rotary DCT S15 Swapped Drift Car… Harder than we thought … 

Collete you should do more series like this more often. It’s like you’re hosting your own version of the show OVERHAULIN. Sort of involved, but mostly just hosting and narrating for us through the steps of the build.

I think it's really dope that they're teaching Collete how to weld n do her own fab work. Being a Racer u can literally never have enough skills to ease up any barrier u encounter. Keep it up 👍

I was a little worried about the 3/4" around the perimeter of the trans tunnel, but it turned out really well. Glad to see more bead rolling as well. 👍👍

As a child, I used to follow my father around while he did things, so I'd learn. This has allowed me to be able to have the ability to do repair work for electrical, plumbing, dry wall, and so many other things. I LOVE that they are taking the time to teach you this as you work on this new build and I'm jealous they are teaching you to weld. Dad hss a plasma cutter, lathe and weld set up, I think I need to go spend some time with him and have him show me some things. :)

You definitely need a sump Guard to protect your investment 🤙💯👌 6mm thick aluminium would be enough 💯👌

Just powder coat wrenches so even after you pic the color you don’t throw away any metal just use a good looking wrench 🤷🏻‍♂️

This car is spicy Doritos with strawberries cause it’s a s15 and that’s what they call the front of them in japan

Im pretty sure rotary engines are usually slightly offset to one side to account for the exhaust and intake weight and clearance, because they are both on one side of the engine

When I learned to weld 20yrs ago the class only had the old style helmets, the auto dark ones were $$$ and I was a cheap/poor student. Modern helmets are SOOOOOO Much better and Cheap!!! I had like 3 of the non powered style from my dad but after buying a powered one I tossed those old things.

You can always bead roll your name into the panels for a more personal touch

So her name is Flo, the Floatery. Hers got a name? She will be "Flowing around the corners" when you drift anyway.

Great video, but the music was pretty bad this episode :/

I think a lot of the confusion from people about builds like this is the difference between expensive/expansive to build vs expensive to run, so this may be an expansive build but it wont cost what your 3 rotor or c7 cost to actually drive I imagine?

Learn tig. It's worth knowing that skill.
