Nice video Todd. Especially that you show what happens when things don’t go exactly as they should. Quick question. Given the issue with getting a straight shot on the axle and with lining up the lower ball joint would it have been a little easier to disconnect the knuckle from the strut?

I have a very basic stupid question but I honestly want to Google it and half of the answers were people just being trolls so not a hundred percent confident with what Ithink might be right. Okay so when you're having to take the whole tire wheel assembly off of vehicle like let's save for this job or to just put on a spare something like that... do you tighten up the lugnuts all the way very tight before you put the vehicle down completely from the Jack or do you kind of really tight and then when you take the vehicle down, get the Jack out and then checking if needed tighten them up even more? or do you put them on just enough to hold it in place and then put the vehicle down take away the Jack and then tighten it up real tight? the reason I'm asking is with three different vehicles I've had every time I take it to a specific local tire place it always just feels off. Like it's not sitting right. and I've always just chalked it up to like okay well maybe it's because I got a patch in my tire... But then I noticed after a safety inspection it felt really weird on the driver side. I looked at the inspection paper and that's the wheel they took off for the safety inspection. I had to go back in the next day or something different and make sure to kind of lingering around and watch how they were dealing with putting the cars up and down off their lips but they only have one left the rest are hydraulic jacks. And they were doing all three of those things I asked about what's different cars it was different mechanics but they would switch it up too. So I thought maybe it depends on the car but IDK I'm sorry I know this is wrong but also I had my CV axlereplaced in my 92 LeBaron and it has felt really weird ever since but in the same sentence in older car and I don't really know what it felt like correct to begin with. But I do know that something doesn't feel right. I only had one the side replaced and I'm not sure that it completely even needed it at the time but it was a fluke I just happened to see that the boot was ripped open like somebody had to literally cut it in half and it wasn't 2 days prior. So I had to replaced about a week later because I knew it was going to have to be replaced sooner or later because the boot was so severed that it provided no protection

Was this really a 07 Kia Rondo? The plastic around the fender and bumper doesn't look right. My 2007 doesn't have those
