Helmes are the worst lot over here mate- I've had multiple parcels get lossed, and had a brand new Avante kit thrown over my back gate and left in the pouring rain all day! 😩 Bit of a nightmare run that day, everything was against us..... but hope to do better next time! Craig oh Craig..... have faith my friend!!..... We are professionals remember! 😂 😅 🤣 Pretty gutted about the speed though to be honest buddy. But, the car stayed in one piece, we didn't cause a multiple car pile up or a train derailment! 😂 So all good at the Green Hawks camp, and the Hanky Mobil lives to fight another day! And, I've got a piece of Tamiya royalty on order for our final motor for this challenge..... 38,000 rpm! 😉 But, next week we will be trying the Gool rc 13 turn first! Ha, cheers buddy! In hindsight...... I don't think that second location was a very good idea to be honest! I picked it because it is usually very quiet, and I thought the hill may help our speeds! 😂 But, unfortunately on that day there was a local road closure which had forced traffic through this route instead! 🤷‍♂️ 🙄 It was also noisy and rutted to..... and the walks of shame were tough!! Kinda gutted our run was slower than the previous attempt, but we have a few more motors to go yet..... Onwards and upwards eh mate! Cheers for stopping by fella! 😊 👍 👍 👍

Very true comment Sean..... and the reason I generally use them in most of my cars! They are surprisingly fast for their turn, sound devine, and look awesome! Combine that with their rebuild ability and they are a true winner in my mind. Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be today..... never good for a speed run when your speed is actually slower than your previous run! 😩 But, we had a good laugh mate, and we have a couple more motors to try over the next few weeks. 🤞 Cheers for checking in buddy! 🙏 👍 👍 👍

Hiya Pete!! Yeah mate, got a bit busy down there didn't it? 😬 That road is usually deserted...... Just our luck it was getting used for diverted traffic that day! And yes, I don't think the down hill gradient gained us anything really..... But, it made the video a bit more interesting after the disappointment of 15 turn motor giving us less speed than the 23 turn superstock that we used on the first run! I don't think we need to drop it off a high building just yet..... got another two motors to try, and one of them is a beast! Cheers for watching buddy. 😊 👍 👍 👍

All I know is that I need to prepare a 'rolling chassis', and then it's down to Taylor to sort out the jet rockets! 🤷‍♂️😱 But for now, we are focusing on finishing this one off..... Just got a new motor delivered for the final run, hope to get us up to 40mph! 👍 👍 👍

Ha!!! 😂 😅 🤣 My gosh Bob..... you always have to lower the tone on our perfectly clean and non offensive channel don't you dude?!!! 😂 😅 🤣 But you do have a very valid point about the 'hardening' and 'shrinking' bodily issue...... but let's gloss over that one and move in to motors yeah? 😂 Yep, I was expecting a little bit more out of that 15turn to be honest..... It certainly had lots of torque, but low top end unfortunately. Boy it performed superbly off road though later that day, I had a blast in the dusty grass and gravel! Let's hope the 13 turn Gool rc one on the next run gives us a little more tits! (when we had it in the lunchbox it literally tore the 'kin tires off!!) As for the secret weapon, we are saving that until last..... It's a gorgeous motor and should give us up to 38,000 rpm! It won't get us to the top of the board, but I'm hoping we shouldn't be far off 40 mph all being well! 🤞 Cheers for your ongoing support of the channel bro. 😊 👍 👍 👍

But, on a positive note, we did avoid the car going off the bridge and onto the dual carriageway and train tracks below! 😂 As for the 'bending' of the rules, yep mate..... probably unethical, but as you said..... Hey Paul, cheers for your ongoing support matey. 😊 Yeah man, a bit of a bummer to be honest, we really wasn't expecting this 15 turn to be slower than the 23 turn superstock RZ! But, those superstocks are mighty fine motors that do perform exceedingly well for what they are..... which is why I have them in so many of my cars. Back to the drawing board..... Next up I have a 13 turn gool rc motor to try, and after that I have a secret weapon up my sleeve! 😉 Stay tuned buddy! 👍 👍 👍

Hello matey! Yeah man..... Looks like our first run was the fastest so far, so will be sticking to that for now. I'm not expecting wonders from the 13 turn one next week to be honest. But, I have got a secret weapon on order for our final attempt which is capable of 38,000 rpm!!! Cheers for hosting this fun competition buddy, it's been a good laugh! I'm actually really enjoying this holiday buggy to..... had it out earlier after work up the playing field without the cameras rolling, it's a real fun car off road! That 15 turn is very torquey..... Just seemed to lack top end. Will now be putting it, and the ESC into moo moos Mad bull for her as it was originally intended. Guna be installing the 120amp hobby wing in the DT02 for the last couple of attempts..... watch this space! 😉 👍 👍 👍

@@greenhawksrc6806 The 15t will feel more at home in the Maad Bull and you will notice the difference between the two cars. Try the Mad Bull rear wheels on the DT-02. That's my plan for my next speed run 🤔😝🤣

@@cw-01creations46 Hmmm..... Mad bull rear wheels eh? Now that's an idea! 👍 The, 13 turn Gool rc motor we are using next was rapid in the lunchbox.... It actually flung the tyres off the rims! 😂 So hopefully it may give us a few more mph! This DT02 is one tough buggy, all this abuse and it's only picked up a few cosmetic blemishes..... which is why I built this basher body. We still have the original box art shell for after the challenge. 👍 👍 👍

@@yodadarksideGreenHawksRC The gearbox is pretty much bulletproof and everything else that breaks is just minor cos parts are available for the platform. It all depends how you drive it to be honest. You will need some 25mm HEX extenders on the rear if you use the DT01 rear wheels. I've got 25mm extenders on my buggy cos if you don't use them, the tyres will rub on the rear arches and then you might have a blow-out 👍 I've got a pair you can borrow 😏

@@cw-01creations46 Great advice buddy..... 👍 Probably just going to stick to a motor and esc upgrade, for now at least! I'm thinking the new motor I've got coming 'should' gain us a fair bit of speed, and move us out the bottom of the leader board! 🤞 👍 👍 👍
