Thanks! I think to make the pickpocket encounter make more sense, I might house-rule just doing one round of combat. You either lose d6 money or not. I mean, they wouldn’t be able to pickpocket you once you’re aware of them and if you kill them you’d be able to get your money back off the body. Maybe I’m overthinking it, ha ha!

I guess the designer wanted to keep it simple, but that's totally a reasonable house rule!

That's a pretty fun and interesting game. First time I'm seeing one of these Morkborg games (or whatever you call them). I'll certainly add this to my list of solo games to pick up. As always, I'm looking at this and thinking, "how can I implement this into FoundryVTT???" 😂

I've come across a few 'Mork Games', the only ones I've played are this and Corny Gron (which was based on Dark Fort, which Mork Borg was based on). Reckon I'll be playing a few more before long! I'm gonna have to check out this FoundryVTT at some point 😁

Just be aware this and dark fort and corny from have essentially nothing to do with any of the Borg games as far as gameplay or mechanics go. They are all super fun mini games on their own though!

@@lone_adventurer If you are interested in a VTT or an app for running solo games, there is a project called The Augur on itch that seems pretty good. Consistent updates and improvements. I own it but have only had the chance to dabble in it so far.

When you said you were poisoned, you defined that as -1 to fight? Did you mean for that one fight or for the whole quest? I was just listening, so maybe I missed something.

Pretty sure it's a permanent thing until you do something to get rid of that state.

What a neat little game! And its presentation and graphic design is so good and way bigger than its rules! Thx again for finding such gems! I see its design being hugely influenced by morkborg/cyborg but the rules are even more light than that, would you agree?

Glad I helped you find the game! Indeed, you're probably right about the rules being lighter than Mork Borg - Cy//Korg and similar games are based on Dark Fort, which is a simpler solo-first version of the Mork Borg. Honestly, its games like this that have been my entry-point to the Mork Borg ruleset, which itself is very straight-forward (I've seen a couple of summaries of that game and you really can get all the rules quite comfortably onto two bits of paper!

I'm not sure you can, unfortunately. The designer at present is just selling physical copies, but luckily it is cheap and he'll ship anywhere included in the cost on the website (I think, don't quote me on that!).
