Today I unbox and take a look at an awesome Airsoft representation of an all American Thompson M1A1. But how will it perform? Join me as I put the Fully Licensed Cybergun WE Thompson M1A1 through its paces!

My Airsoft channel is an ENTERTAINMENT channel where the equipment featured, are predominantly used for my film company. Naturally, I also enjoy collecting, reviewing and playing airsoft, so have merged these entities together to create my channel. I love airsoft and love making these videos. I do not have the room/space to do long-range accuracy tests. Until I can secure a larger space, what you see in my videos is all I can offer for now. Sometimes I do have access to an outdoor secure field but it is nowhere near where I am based. Please remember my RU-vid channel is my hobby and not a business. My channel has never and will never claim to be an expert or professional airsoft product review and testing channel. As stated at the end of all of my videos.

Don’t worry mike, the mag being hard to put in and pull out is also realistic. The Thompson during WWII was really a tricky gun and had its flaws.. sticky mag syndrome was one of them

I love distress. Put some original WWII wood on it complete with nicks. It would also look amazing with the original GI strap. For those of you who are brave of heart, you can complete your distress with a slight buffing of the edges, nothing crazy.

I wouldn’t doubt it. These products are fully licensed to be 1:1 replicas, airsoft guns typically have different internals depending on if it uses gas or not. A GBB is functionally identical in this case, except there’s no casings. The furniture and external features should be basically the same , I know many airsoft guns have rails for real optics.

Here is one: RWA / Viva Arms Lee Enforld No.4 you cand find it on red wolf airsoft and swit airsoft. It's a spring powered rifle that has great accuracy and great power. I have it and I love it!

The dino speedloader is standard with this gun. The gun itself is awesome however the plastic grip/stock ... replaced mine with authentic ww2 wood stock. The grip wasnt possible to be replaced since the gun isnt an exact copy of the real steel. When you insert the mag pull the mag release, it'll slide in a bit easier. Another note is to be careful when engaging the safety selector, pull the bolt handle a bit back (just a little bit, not all the way) and you wont risk wearing out the safety selector catch.

I was just informing in case someone else wanted the real steel grip and stock. Also at the time when i got my gun, beginning this year, those kits weren't available. Not in Europe at least. I had the plastic grip airbrushed and then varnished to match the darker real steel stock and front grip. The pistolgrip wasnt touched, had thoughts about milling it out but that felt like sacrilege.

If it's something you are never going to sell, file down the side's of the slide for the mag & it will be much easier to position when sliding into place.

about the name of the Thompson in the game mentioned in 6:22. you are right the Thompson in the game and the airsoft you have is modeled after the M1A1 version which is the army version. however the original Thompson is patented during 1921 up to 1928 and that time sold some to the army a version called m1928a1. after that they made revision to the gun and finally called it the m1a1.. the history of the gun is a bit confusing that's why they mistook its name.. anyway nice airsoft.. love to own one if i had the chance.. cheers..

The 1928 is the one with the fore grip, also know as the Chicago Typewriter, this is the one built for WW2 two very different guns entirely.

as someone who owns a real thompson and fired the airsoft one, the recoil isnt actually too much of an extreme difference. the real deal is so heavy combined with the .45 rounds, theres almost no recoil

The difference between the this thompson and the other ones used in the prohibition ere is the the front grip and the barrel the prohibition one had a forgrip in the front handgard and it also has a barrel thar is more round with little ring around it

*if you want more fps, recoil, noise, and rpm, then you can (should) run this baby on BLACK gas, instead of regular green. It's fucking awesome!* I have one of these beautiful babies and love it! I'm not a competitor by any means, but I love the simple sunny day and backyard plinking session every now and then. I bought this for the build quality, which is superb, and the fun of being able to shoot a loud, fully automatic airsoft Thompson with kick and punch! I'll say that you need to tighten the Alan key (under the barrel before the handguard) after a long session, as it slowly loosens.

Havent watched the whole video yet but just some things i´d like to share because i got mine for about a week now. The barrel isnt really firm and moves from left to right, tying down the screw at the bottom helps but not for long. And the gas release seems to leak quite easily, you might need to swap the o-ring out in order for it not to spill it all over time. Oh and whole upper body wiggles around a bit, so it seems its not all fitted completely firmly. As said, i havent watched the whole video cause i dont have that much time atm, but i wanted to let people know about that stuff in case he didnt mention it or doesnt have those problems. Edit: Okay after watching the whole thing he didnt mention any of it so maybe its just mine, or maybe you need to double check again Mike :D Awesome video on this almost perfect gun though^^ Edit 2: Oh and you might wanna press the magrelease when inserting aswell, because the used look scratches come anyway but the little button that slots into the mag might get rounded down when you just slam it in to often.
