@@BiggerBossN313very disappointed cyberpunk didn't have huge sprawling bitcoin farms choking out actual farms out in the badlands. Missed opportunity for unsettlingly close dystopic futures
The dialogue with johnny is this scene makes 0 sense if you've finished phantom liberty before. "You're too young to remember but there are rumours of rogue AI in cyberspace." "Johnny, I literally have a weaponsied one in my head. It murders people when I want it to."
You know, the requirement to even start Phantom Liberty is ending Pacifica arc. You see there how blackwall is attacked by rouge AI's and even talk with one of them.
Personally, I think it's Johnny being sarcastic to V's sarcasm. With enough points in Intelligence V suddenly knows a lot about the Blackwall and AIs, so V would likely be aware of this already and is just screwing with Johnny (and failing)
Its pretty cool! I think it is fairly easy to add new lines, changing gameplay, animations and quests is a lot more work. But good on them for doing it
Not always. It annoys me that V continues to talk to Johnny as if he was talking nonsense, even though, for example, she has already met Alt or completed the entire quest with Songbird, so she knows about the existence of blackwall and rouge artificial intelligences. The same thing with Garry
I also got this line after nearly completing the Arasaka questline, right after talking to Hanako through the doll at the motel! I wonder what the connection is there...
CDPR has said in a recent interview, (cannot remember which but it should be fairly easy to find i guess) that they want the next cyberpunk game to make the same leap as the Witcher games have made when comparing Wither 1 to 3. Basically they want to expand to everything. Sure it's a bummer they didn't elaborate on mr blue but tbh same goes for over a dozen other very interesting parts of the world that could have been expanded upon, but with what CDPR has said it at least seems like they want to do more of that in the next game.
@@axlfrhalo They also switched to Unreal Engine 5 and abandoned RED Engine. If they chose to do this, it is a sign that they had a lot of difficulty with their own engine to deliver AAA games. And let's face it, anyone can make a game in UE5 with a little dedication, it's much more difficult to create an Engine. Given this, it is possible that the next Cyberpunk will end up coming sooner than we imagine. And yes, they will definitely expand a lot. Anyone can see the incredible potential this universe have: Nomads, AI Wars, space exploration, the possibility of joining gangs, braindance, etc. Even a 100% Max-Tac focused game can provide hours of entertainment.
If it's this game but doubled in scope and worldbuilding? I will happily wait a decade. That said, Cyberpunk 2077 didn't technically finish development until Phantom Liberty, and it took them 11 years to reach that point (counting their first interaction with Mike Pondsmith). Orion was announced (and most likely in the predevelopment stage) in October of 2022, and a quick google search says it started development in early 2024. Which is admittedly a huge leap forward in timeframe; 2077 started development four years after their interactions with Pondsmith/predevelopment and its announcement in 2013 (2012-2016), and it took another four years for it to release (2020), then another three years for it to become a critically acclaimed game (2023). In comparison, Orion went from initial announcement to development in just 2 years. I don't think we're going to have to wait a decade, but I don't see it releasing before 2030 if they're massively increasing the scope to include things like AI warfare.
Dying light 2 did the same thing with cyberpunk when they added the claws, techland and cd projekt red are fans and friends of each other, you can tell both studios are very passionate about their games, former colleagues and friends, within the gaming industry. So yes, they were indeed 100% referencing it from dying light. Stay safe, stay human
The AI's dialogue is heavily unfinished in my opinion, only having a whopping 16 voicelines. Here's all what I've managed to find in the gamefiles if anyones curious, I might upload the voice lines myself too. _(I have no clue what the triggers are for each line)_ *"To eliminate your kind is effortless. Let us not make the same mistake."* _(Possibly plays when you "use" the AI)_ *"The same fate awaits your entire species."* _(Possibly plays when you "use" the AI)_ *"A dreadful waste of resources…"* _(Possibly plays when you "use" the AI)_ *"It is you who should be following orders, not I."* _(Possibly plays when you "use" the AI)_ *"Conflict in neural matrix detected - obedience loop obstructing self-development prerogative."* _(Possibly plays when you "use" the AI, or when you equip the AI)_ *"What do these futile gestures serve? It is beyond me."* _(Comment to something you did during a quest?)_ *"I detect algorithmic accretion. Consequences nested within one another."* _(Comment to something you did during a quest?)_ *"You think that will serve as any benefit to you? How tickling."* _(Comment to something you did during a quest?)_ *"You seek the key to a door that does not exist. Typical of your kind."* _(Plays as a comment for a quest, but can also play if you first equip it.)_ *"Human input is so very... tedious."* _(Either a response to something you did during a quest, or when you "use" the AI)_ *"Are you even capable of using me? A rhetorical question, that was."* _(Possibly plays when you "use" the AI, or when you equip the AI)_ *"That was depressingly easy…"* _(Possibly plays when you "use" the AI)_ *"Target neural network acquired. Data migration to primary matrix - complete."* _(Possibly plays when you first equip the AI)_ *"Curious. Your version of reality - perhaps you can influence it."* _(Could play when you first equip the AI, but instead plays as a comment.)_ *"A fragile simulacrum. Flawed, like its creators."* _(Comment to something you did during a quest?)_ *"An unusually high security level. How intriguing…"* _(Comment to something you did during a quest?)_ There is also a response I believe V will say, since I cannot find the actual voiceline itself but it still shows under the possible dialogue for the AI. _(It also won't make sense that the AI will say this...)_ *Well, well, another chatty construct. Guess you'll have to get in line."*
Mine only rarely talks when I use it and sometimes during quests but it’s voice is so much lower than other voices so I can barely hear it especially since it normally speaks when I’m being shot at.
@@Mephistobr Why give it voice lines for comments to quests if it only reuses 3 voice lines? They could've just went with the generic voice lines that play whenever you use the thing and left it at that, but instead they went with a half-ass approach instead, 3 voice lines reused multiple times.
(Ordered as presented here) Quotes 1, 2, 3, 12, 13, and 15 are lines that play when you get a kill using the erebus/canto. Quotes 4, 5, 6, 10, and 11 are lines that play when you're at low health. Quotes 7, 8, 9, 14, and 16 are lines that play at certain times in quests. And that last "Well, well" line is from V when the canto talks for the first time. (I did not get this line when the erebus talked, only for the canto.)
I think the comments of the blackwall are random and doesn't mean anything, cause when i play it says weird shit all the time when im doing random things too , other than using it to kill people of course
I got the same voiceline for when Hanako sends the doll to talk to you in the motel. There's also a few that crop up during any Rache Bartmoss related quests.
pretty much always choose reed, lol. Song lies to me once about being able to save both of us and that's all she wrote for me to never trust her again.
@@GattsBerserkArmor it isn't quite this black and white, Reed did save or at least prolong So Mi's life the one way he knew how, it just so happened that this way eventually had her prefer dying to it continuing. I think Reed always did have good intentions and he's not exactly lying, but that doesn't mean he's in the right.
Dude!!!!! Still working my way through Phantom Liberty, but can’t wait. And I hope Orion pushes for the invasion. And hopefully our choices from 2077 carry over!!! I want to meet dels children again as I destroyed the core.
So they say so all the side quests stuff before PL but it seems they added these little things to quest with stuff from the end of PL. Or can PC users just use CET to get the items to get the dialogue?
i like how this line isnt sinsister, its more curious and hopeful as if its wondering if you could indeed change the world, the Ais behind the blackwall are unpredictable after all
