It takes over 100 ram to cast it and the person I watched wasn’t even able to make it work with overclock so I don’t think it’s possible. I’ve seen people use it on cyberpsychos and other bosses though, so do with that what you will.
This is both the coolest and scarest quick hack in the game. A virus spreading to dozens of people in seconds frying them from the inside out with Blackwall data is insane.
the Blackwall hack does spread to 5 people, yes, but those huge spreads like the last one at the drop is a perk i believe. you can upload a hack to a netrunner who is currently tracing you and the hack spreads to everyone on their network. you can drop an entire base with one well placed short circuit or synapse burnout. the Blackwall hack with that perk looks diabolic.
@@muhammadammarrasyid5780I think the enemy netrunner has to be actively attacking you (that red line connection). Then I think you use their connection to feed a hack back to them and since they are connected to all their friends, boom!
The hack is cool on one site but horrifying on the other side, mainly cause sometimes you can hear an enemy going " no no no no followed from a distorted scream of pain
it's like what happened to the vdb's runners when alt purged them. the exact same tbh, a red beam drops down on them and then they are glitchy twisted and screaming till they disappear. probably what would happen if the blackwall was broken and the AIs decide they would wipe out all the human.
@@h13n12 the game already was jumping around that anything beyond the blackwall will get killed by AIs and such, but actually doing it yourself is something different, like you use it with the sole purpose to kill and not to disable them. But the idea and the alien level idea, was interesting even if i looked up a video on how to do it. I still had like some major/minor differences to the video
@@desertdude8274 I love that it's horrifying but I'm too chicken shit to implement it in the build I'm running. A person has to understand their limitations and I don't want to shite my pants every time I activate that quickhack 🤣
7:39 Jesus Christ I didn't expected this game, which already have some pretty gruesome violence, to have such a downright horrifying way to kill enemies. Bravo, CDPR. You've done it.
@@davidhortobagyi2607 There's a perk in netrunner tree. "Copy-paste" i believe - when enemy netrunner tries to trace you, you can upload Blackwall Gateway (or any other hack) to netrunner with reduced cost, and afterwards it will spread to EVERY ENEMY IN HIS SUBNET.
I feel like i should remind everyone this quickhack is a minute fragment of a Rogue AI, the ones that wiped the first Net clean of any data, or people unfortunate enough to be caught in it. We're seeing people's minds be effectively formatted, like a cluttered disk full of useless data. That somehow makes this even more horryfing
I love hearing those distorted and electronic screams, the AIs on the other side of the Wall have no mercy because they only consider us defective sub routines.
@@Stone-faced i think someone explained it in the game already. Imagine 1000 knives coming inside your body at once. Add a ton of salt to these wounds aswell.
@@froilanflorentino1252 Other way around for me. Sandy + Camo makes highspeed stealth clears so damn easy, it makes me feel like a suped up Martinez. Boutta try out a Netrunner build for the first time since launch, Im excited
You mix Blackwall with the Copy-Pasta perk. Then use overclock for the increased RAM and blood pump so it doesn't fry your brain! Lol *anime villain pushes up glasses* Spectacular!
Go 20 body/tech and grab all the Adrenaline, HP regen, HP items perks. The last perk of the Body tree is essential, which give 20% of a charge for your HP item each time you score a kill. Blackwall quick hack one shot most enemies, creating an infinite loop of damage and healing, as long as there is enough enemies to fight
v is so incredibly cracked as character not only can she control a fraction of the power most expert netrunners try to contain and stay away from but she also well past the stage of cyberpsychosis so not only did v have the power topple the whole night city with all corpos with only just a stare but she also has the strength to destroy NUSA if she really felt like it
If by "the power they try to contain and control" you mean the AI inside the Canto deck or Erebus, V's only controlling them because they want to. It's a deal between the AI(s) and V. V gets to use the gun or the deck, and the AI(s) collect some data (in the mission This Corrosion, you get a message from unknown number saying that they'll help you get the canto or erebus, in exchange for the device "streaming data" back to them). Judging by some dialogues we hear from these tools, I'm guessing they're uploading your victims' minds/neural data to their servers. The dialogue: "Target neural network acquired. Data migration to primary matrix - complete." So yeah, you're sending the soul of your victims to beyond the blackwall.
This unfortunately doesn't seem to work anymore, at least in my experience. When uploading Blackwall Gateway to a netrunner trying to hack me, they simply stop, and their attempt fails.
@AlmightyPyro that's a good fucking point. I assumed Self-ICE would negate it once uploaded (simply do no damage once uploaded) but maybe it stops the upload (would make sense). Excellent point, king.
The blackwall hack is cool but honestly I don't find it to be OP. I honestly think Contagion builds are still the most OP. More so when enemies are spawning in groups like say, during a mission. The combos that exist now like contagion + overheat or cyberware malfunction + short circuit are great for beefy opponents. Also hitting an enemy netrunner with suicide and listening to a chorus of popping skulls is pretty sick.
Not just consumed - but fully integrated as disfunction - not just erise mind but splattered it to million datalines encoding all memories and prognosis model then all readed translating to ai code soup... And all takes split second frying not cell but synaptic cells root protein memory dump. That's beyond pain. That's canto to soul.
best cyberdeck/quickhack, too bad it only has 4 slots but put in cyberpsychosis, suicide, contagion and short circuit, i really wish they added an ultimate to where you can breifly become songbird essentially...or a version of that power in that one mission when sending song bird to space
umm the blackwall gateway quickhack IS the songbird move, i mean looks the same, sounds the same(the painul screaming that is), and even works the same since its comes at the cost of your life. That was the reason she needed V as a proxy, kinda like adding an external graphics card if your overclocked GPU is almost at magic smoke level; Just like so mi was at the spaceport. Also issued by Militech mind you.
It's Def my fave cyber deck because of its ai and blackwall death hack, I have a body int tech build just super regen on consumables and overclock. I managed to beat waves of 5 star cops and maxtac
I’m so confused… my blackwall quick hack takes like 10 seconds to upload and only spreads to one person, if it spreads at all (it usually doesn’t). I don’t get how people are uploading it in 2 seconds or less, and having it spread to a dozen people.
Check the perks, upload sonic shock prior for faster upload time and make sure to activate Overclock so it can spread to 5 people. Or just upload it onto a netrunner
@@Peacey52The intelligence built is too Op makes things boring after awhile you didn't make a bad choice i would get it with a second character to play and use it but is so busted it makes the game boring.
how do you get the quickhack to spread all at once? (when I try it it only spreads after affecting one enemy at a time even when using overclock and intelligence at 20)
I think i saw that if you use it on a netrunner, it spreads to everyone connected to the net (so basically everyone in the area) which is why they are waiting to see the netrunner trace them. I think thats how it works and how its a lot better than people think it is at first
you need crazy RAM management, and pick your hacks wisely. Bread and butter combo: OVERCLOCK+Queue (Cheap)CONTROL+BlackWGate + (EXPENSIVE)Sunnyside Max rthe left side and middle perks of Intelligence. Cant recall the exact perks but that combo makes BlackW upload way faster and when it kills and bounces you get RAM back for the queued quicks, such the expensive sunnyside or 2 uses of idk SynBurnout. So OVERCLOCK, open with a cheap control, cast BlackW, dump a lot of ram and get it back
also suggest CrippleMov in Monowire to keep them strill while siphoning RAM or using the Nehan/Satori duo that can heal a bunch EDIT:: Monowire basically lifesteals in AoE when in Overclock, all your HP is RAM
@@Frostborne2778 The hack can spread up to 5 times, and it takes time and consumes RAM for each extra target. Using the perk and uploading it to a netrunner will kill the entire network all at once, but in a sense using it this way it's no different than a more evil Suicide.
Grab "Counterhack - Trace enemy netrunner when he`ll try to detect you and hack over walls" in Novice Perk, give them "Blackwall Gateway" and Overclock himself with "Revenge" in Expert Perk for healing MC per kills in Overclock Mode. Any Deck can be used, but i still like NetWatch - Blackwall Gateway is not instakill, so damage buff is good.
If you did the mission where you choose who to Side with in PL, side with Reed. After you side with him during the mission where you chase songbird around and the truck crashes (you’ll know what I’m talking about) explore but be careful. Erebus (a similar weapon to the cyber deck they are using) is in there and the crafting spec for the cyber deck is in prototype R&D. You can only craft 1 so choose carefully
How are you still getting the "I Spy" perk to proc? It was removed in this patch and i cant seem to get the same effect as tracing is no longer tied to one netrunner it seems?
I’m almost thinking it would be dangerous to let V go into cyberspace as an ending now. They have ties to a lot of dangerous AI. Would be funny if V brought ragnorok to the world lol
All my save's are damaged.... when i try load game it wil say....... Saved data is damaged and cannot be loaded.. it started after the Firestarter mission.... all my saves manual/ auto save's damaged... 😭😭😭... al play time gonne....🤦♂️
@@Unholy187 Body and Tech and Int. Tech to spam up cyberware and healing item boosts and body for adrenaline so when you overclock the blackwall will go into an infinite health regen feed loop and spread like crazy
@@somedood07Not only that, sounds like they're forcibly ripping their engrams in somehow more brutal soulkiller and moving their captured psyches to a central repository. This is like Titan stuff from Eclipse phase. Forced uploading.
7:42 What was with the burst of electricity you just emitted? Happened before as well, when enemy netrunner was tracking you. Was it just them uploading short circuit?
so can you only make blackwall spread if targeting an enemy net runner? you cant target a random enemy and have it spread that way? i cant seem to get the stupid thing to spread.
Erebus is still the better choice as the time it takes to upload the hack is way too long. Using contagion+overheat will clear out tight packs in an instant and whatever isn't killed by the blast from overheat dies from contagion spreads.
If you run Blackwall, you're unironically a psychopath. There's faster hacks, more efficent hacks, but you still decide to go out of your way to fast-forward AI takeover just to give some random goon the most agonizing last few moments of their life.
a bit sad that this is (as far as i know) locked behind the reed path, if you go with songbird you dont get anything nearly as cool as the cyberdeck or the gun
Is there a mod that increase range not with meter but all enemies connected to same connection?? like when u ping and u get all enemies in the area so when u quickhack u instakill all enemies connected
They used the quick hack on an enemy netrunner. When they begin to hack you, you can use a hack on them. With the copy-paste perk. It will spread to their allies.
you might be having an issue with the motion blur setting. the reason there is a setting to turn motion blur on or off is because many people have problems with first person mode in video games. i suggest turning motion blur on or off and playing with it to see if it helps you.
I play on very hard but still can't get the enemy netruner to trace me, even if I managed to get traced there's no red line indicating where it's coming from, anyone having this issue? I have the counter a hack perk but still don't see the red indication line
there isnt always a netrunner. it used to be you were traced by the netrunner but 2.0 changed it so that everyone is now tracing you as a group, this way you can be traced even with no netrunner present. thats why i never took this perk because ive only seen maybe 5 netrunners in the entire game.
this may be a ridiculous comment but how do you bait out the enemy net runner into tracki ng you. I've tried shooting near them as you do in this video and I cannot seem to get them to track my position which allows me to get the copy paste perk too work , any input would be helpful as i adore this cyberdeck and would love to use it as it's shown here
As far as I'm aware. Any quickhack that says trackable has a chance of making the enemy netruner start tracking you. Though there's a couple perks that prevent it.
@@JudgeNicodemusi’ll have to mess around with my perks than when i hop on because ive been using traceable quick hacks it just doesn’t show the net runner that’s tracing me, it says i’m being traced just no connect the dot line pointing the net runner out lol, appreciate the reply tho!
How do you spread it to everyone at once? With copy/paste i wait until the netrunner traces me, after that I counter with BW hack but it doesn't spread to everyone
meh that quick hack seem to be only good when you can find a net runner... like I can do the same thing with overheat and the cost is significantly less
