There is also the strange possibility that this future food is in some ways BETTER (or at least more accepted) than "real" food. Tang VS actual orange juice for example. I know Tang is basically sugar (now artificial sweetener) and water but kids seem to like that more than real OJ. Grow up with Tang and you might even spit out OJ once you finally taste it because it would be weird to you.

2nd or 3rd Corporate war devastated the majority of the ocean and the first phase of the 4th screwed up a lot of what was left. Could've been fixed but not likely.

Andrew Diaz the Pacific Ocean? Or the Indian or Atlantic Ocean? Or all of them? If climate change reacts the same way as our own, red tides become a real problem too.

I'd reckon on that stuff being vat grown meat rather than plant based stuff we can buy now. With the absolute shitshow that is the world in cyberpunk there'd be a lot of motivation from corps and governments to streamline and industrialize the process of vat cultivation.

@@username12120 Its lab grown. There's lots of ads about its freshness and a few clips on how it's made. It might even be cheaper than growing soy and processing it when all you'd need is nutrient solution and muscle cells

It has more meaning in TTRPG where imagination can run wild, here we might see Crystal Palace in an expansion but that could not happen, we still don't know.

There are going to be 2 big content DLC's I very much doubt that they will expand in a new location on earth: like Europe or Asia (even if that would be cool). So the options for a new map could be: the space station and with it a space satellite, or more out in the wasteland.

@@shariardhrubo249 Dunno when they come out. Have you played Witcher 3? Because they said that it's going to be like that except bigger. Witcher 3 had small free DLC's and two big 2 DLC : > The smaller free ones added a couple of quests and armor and alternative looks for your love interests/important characters. > Heart of Stone did not have a new map but costed less (10$) and is generally said to have the best story in the game, as well as one of the best villans in video games. > Blood and Wine had a gigantic map, and actually felt like it had more content than some standalone video games. It costed 20$ on release but you can now often get all the game + DLC's for 15-20$ Both of these DLC's were really worth their price. In a world where a big part of DLC's are just lazy cash grabs (worst offender being Sims or just EA in general) CDPR are a beacon to look up to.

Wouldnt surprise me lol but its just synthetic stuff pretty much. Since everything is lab grown. There was more organics in 2020 but in 2077 definitely not haha

It's the same in the Neuromancer universe. Everybody lives off of imitation food made from processed krill. You have to go to a five star resturant for anything real. There's a bit in the story when the main character is ill (comming down off some gnarly synthetic drug) and passes on eating a stake that his employer bought for him. His companion flips out and eats it herself saying something along the lines of: 'You know how much this costs? They have to look after an animal for years and everything.'

@@Chronically_ChiII According to the ESRB rating for the game, you can drive while drunk. So I would assume so. There will also be other drugs in the game as well.

It would be cool if we could sit down, eat and drink on a restaurant or at V house, like red dead. But if not having to eat gave low stats would suck
