People seem to think Panam is dead

@@TheGamerClown that could be it, or kidnapped because of her actions against the wraiths/kang tao. cause I don’t really see the Panam actor refusing to come back, or even them not bringing someone else to voice her. She’s the fan favorite out of all the romances, so seems weird she doesn’t even make an appearance to say goodbye.

@@whosaprettykitty5076 Misty and Viktor both move away. They are the only oneswho even still care about V but Misty chooses to move to Poland and Vik is relocated by ZT. Mama Welles might still be around but isn't really that close to V unless you are a Corpo where V uses to live with her. It's also explained that Panam simply wants nothing to do with V anymore. Her text messages confirm her rage too. She cussed at V and was very mad at him ghosting. Which makes absolutely no sense because she knew he was dying and she knew he was getting surgery and should have at least considered he might have finally died and obviously wasn't ignoring her.

@@aden8355 Mama Wells and V are close with all life paths (she considers V a son/daughter and refers to her as family regardless of your life path) I 1000% agree with you when it comes to Panam too. If she seriously isn’t in any trouble/dead and is just mad at V for ghosting, that would be the stupidest shit ever. “I know you’re dying and all V, and trying your hardest to find a solution to save your life BUT HOW DARE YOU NOT CALL ME?!” I love Panam, but if that’s what they turned her character in to, idk

She did a mega job. I really believe her performance in the original game got overlooked by pretty much every major event that gives rewards only because saying anything good about Cyberpunk 2077 was bad for PR at the time.

@@antonkirilenko3116 Male V also did a good job too. The best was his interaction with Skippy, at some point it sounds like he broke character and try not to laugh when Skippy talk to him. I suspect they did the readings at real time face to face

Don’t know why V couldn’t push River into trying to work things over again, he clearly still loves V compared to Panam. And a crippled V makes sense for the romance option that just wants to settle down

@@Xxsorafan Agreed, but as they say "old flames never die". Since they still have each other's contact AND the fact that V is still alive with ample years ahead, I think there's plenty a chance for another spark to be lit, much more hopeful than some other uncertain or devastating endings. ’Sides, knowing River, he's a protective heroic type still, probably wouldn't let a defenseless V comes to any harm.

@@Albert-rl7tx that’s a good way to look at it, I guess they didn’t want to give one romance option a good ending over the others (even though a good ending with River and Kerry would be warranted considering how much content they lack compared to the female interests)

@@Xxsorafan True, realistically speaking an extra romance option is for sure gonna take time, resources and money, especially money, to develop without having much major impact on the main questline storytelling. Also they purposefully kept all endings vague, so I guess it fits better and make sense for them to keep this one vague as well.

Don't fear the reaper ending and by extension the Rogue ending are pretty good for River. You're still together and still see each other even though V is super busy.

@Zymemaru I know it's just there's a lot of tension between them and in none of the ending you don't really end the game on a good note with him.

@r277 i don't know the phone call at the credits with him sounded pretty happy.

@@Zymemaru The Tower is the only ending where V lives though. In all other endings the real V is deleted in Mikoshi... and then their body dies few monts later. There is no cure, that's a fact.

Yeah. I feel like they tried so hard to stray away from “sunshine cliche” they did a 180 and ran smack dab into “edgy” cliche. But a decent medium is not CDPR’s forte. With cyberpunk at least.

Yeah. This ending was overkill. Literally everybody just forgetting about you and not giving a damn about you in just 2 years is a ridiculous idea. 2 years is not a lot of time. Reed didn't see Alex and So Mi for 7 years and despite having been betrayed by So Mi he still was closer to her than anyone was to V. V losing all combative abilities and not remaining a legend was enough. Being ignored and abandoned by everyone is just overkill and feels like a forced bad ending.

This is not really sad ending for V. For him/her it's basically a new beginning. While sad about the losses she/he can have an actual decent life. Even a paperwork job at Langley is better then being a merc and die young.

@@Dak1624 That is really debatable. Some people would prefer to go out as Legends after all, while some prefer to survive even if their life can be barely considered life. Funny enough, my Mom once told me that I should apreciate my health and life, for there are those on death bed who would kill for prolonging their pathetic existance just a little bit longer.

@@Vienna. He wouldn't be wiped at mikoshi, he would go with Alt if you keep your body.

Any other, but this game isn’t about happy ending, imho that’s what makes cyberpunk sorta special

Why changing the ending to a pice of shit ending, worst ending ever, and I am very disspointet cdpr, this dlc could have been so much better, base game was so much better, why would you even make the dlc take place in the middle of the main game story, so stupid and make no sense, could have made a dlc that takes place before the main game story or after, and most importent don't fuck up the ending and story, so sad that it didn't live up to what I expected 😥, got to give it a 4/10

Yall dont understand what the cyberpunk genre is. A happy ending? In a cyberpunk genre? You're wacked. The best you get is bleak or percieved optimism after a tragedy where things will never be the same. It aint cyberpunk it it dont leave you feeling empty

Go with the Nomads with a romanced Judy, that's as happy as you're going to get.

Nomad ending would be perfect if V wasn’t an engram by that point. Sadly, V dies in the chair in Mikoshi and what remains in the nomad ending is a copy.

Well mistys tarot cards speak of an good ending and in lore these Technomancers in Arizona are literal wizards. I also think that in the heist endings V made a deal with Mr blue eyes for a cure

@@evanwcahill4439 That is a neat idea. Though, V could probably have the best of both worlds. With a Gemini cybersystem he would pass as completely human. And having his psyche in the relic instead of a brain would eliminate any risk of cyberpsychosis.

@@bernardobastos5996 This theoretical Full Borg ending is what I thought Arasaka really wanted to do with V in the Devil ending. There is no real reason why anyone should trust a word out of anyone from Arasaka. Their is a chance that V is essentially going to be Arasaka's new Adam Smasher. But a version that could be more tamed.

You feel that way because this is not suppose to be a good ending. V gone for 2 whole years without any explanation so it pretty realistic that people just move on or don't want anything to do with you.

@@nguyenhuuvinh6492 yeah but this ending just feels completely out of character for literally everyone. The dlc itself was fantastic and I loved it but the new ending feels like some writer got pissed off and said "if you want V to survive everything and everyone will suck now, fuck you". The setup itself is good with V not being able to use cyberware, but everyone acting like V is a villain is both OoC and stupid. Doesn't help that this is the only ending where V writes a damn text message instead of calling.

@@Kek393nah I think it’s suppose to be a wake up call to players, trying to tell them that you’re not special, and that the world doesn’t revolve about you V (you the player) and eventually life will move on with or without you. This ending is well deserved for players without a conscience who think giving Songbird away to be caged like a bird was the right call, you will live, but at what Price? I rather Reed and the Myers not giving a damn about me than having Songbird suffer a fate worse than death because of a corrupt government. So if you want to play the best version of V? Play with a moral compass in mind as it seems to fit well with V’s character and it helps shapes your own canon. But the tower ending may not be canon to V, but it’s canon in a lot of aspects, whether V becomes a legend, saves Johnny, or go with Alt, or live out his or her days with Panam. Nothing will be the same. Either way, V will disappear or die, same with Johnny, and everyone will move on and live their best life. If you ask me, Fear the reaper is the best ending. No one you love will die or get hurt, sure Panam will be sad. But Atleast she’ll still have Sol and her clan. you’re going out a legend, no one has to die because you’re a coward in not wanting to take things in your own hands. This is your problem, no one has to get involved your affairs with Johnny. If you ask me, you should let Johnny take your body because either way, you’re not getting out of this in 6 months, and even if there is a cure to prevent your death, there is 100% a cost for it. The game was rigged from the start but Atleast fear the reaper, everyone knows you Atleast made an impact and everyone will see you as legend that killed Smasher, and never stopped fighting.

I agree with your point, except I think the sun ending is best for V because he still gets to accomplish his dreams of being a legend it’s open ended that he might find a cure.

@@Pavel-Geleznov вот вот.Ну другие игры немного не в моем стиле.Но я слышала уже об этом.Да,бюджет у них супер.Я не против смс и звонков,был бы выбор ещё диалогов.Или чтоб можно было самому написать а там бы ответили.Это очень все удобно,когда ты на задании.А так очень хреново сделаны романы.Особенно с Ривером.Быстро как-то все закрутилось и так-же быстро закончилось….

Я придумала им бесплатно,продолжение этой истории ,где Ви все бросили и она стала просто человеком.Можно работать над дополнением уже сейчас.Так будет и Романтика и треш !Вот это был бы фурор,я вам клянусь!У меня фантазия просто на высшем уровне!

@@Yxxyn._ yeah and there was a plot twist too. You had to give up viktor, tell arasaka where he is at rn to send someone and kill him because he knows too much. But to our surprise arasaka gives 0 shit about vic and they just tried to test V. It was actually a good plot twist and would make the ending much more interesting.
