Joe, thanks for the info and also your drone flyovers with commentary. Do you know the interior length of the under seat storage box. It's not specified in the Tesla shop. Wondering if it will accommodate 48" - 52" paddles.

Kind of crazy to see this I just noticed that you are based in San Antonio and I am in San Antonio through Saturday at the National Shooting Center in my Cybertruck, down from Ohio. 2000 miles on mine and only had it 6 days. Off to Palm Coast Florida Saturday and back to Ohio after Easter. Maybe I'll run into you?

I do think they need to find a solution to enlarge the frunk at put an power outlet in there but other than that there's plenty of smart, lockable storage around.

Hey Joe, decently sure you will recognize me from starbase... Got a question that I forgot to try out when I was in your CT. One of the big complaints many have (including me) is you cant see the front edge of the truck....what I didnt try is raising the drivers seat to see if you can at least get a feel for it. Maddy and I tried it out on the beach....I sat in the driver seat and she walked closer and closer until i thought she was at the bumper...I occasionally drive an F250 and not seeing the ground in front of the truck is one thing, but not seeing the front of the hood is another...is there any seat adjustment that can make that a LITTLE more obvious? The other thing i wanted to do was measure....steering wheel to front bumper as compared to an F150 or 250. I think its actually nearly the same...the big diff is...the cybertrucks windshield would end in the middle of the F150 hood.

I have a model 3 and keep a portable jump starter in the frunk. In case my 12 volt battery goes dead, I just need a 9v battery to pop the frunk, grab the portable jump starter, and jump the 12v. I just wish there was a better way to secure the jump starter in the frunk. Right now, I just fill the space with a tire inflator, extension cord, etc. Would be nice to be able to use the space in the CT.

A charger pack fits under the Model Y passenger seat and sticks to the flooring so as not to slide about.

Having owned and driven a single cab 2004 Holden Rodeo for the last 20 years, I think there is plenty of storage options in the Cybertruck! You should see the mess behind and under the seat in my Rodeo. I think if you wanted to carry a load of sand, woodchip or something like that you would have to line the tray (bed for you Americans) with a tarp or something to stop it getting down in the compartment underneath and jaming up the hinges.

I keep my charger underneath the drivers seat in my MYP, easy to deploy if I’m in a hurry. I wish Tesla would design a retractable system that was part of the car…repacking the cord can be and a pain.

When the seat storage bin is installed, how does it affect the legroom and foot space for passengers sitting in the back? Is the comfort level significantly impacted?

For construction the frunk should have been another foot… I constantly use my model Y frunk, not the rear compartment..Functional opportunity missed…The lack of a 400 mile range without the xtender, not the extra $20,000 kept me from excepting my #20,000 reservation…Love the under seat storage Ben…

There's a fairly large delta between what it costs Tesla to make, stock, & supply the additional plastic rear underseat storage box. There's profit margins, and then there's PROFIT MARGINS!!! 😂😂😂 Still, I can't fault Tesla for being able to get its customers to swallow its high merchandising charges right across the whole product lineup. Great review Joe. No matter the subject, your presentation style is extremely accessible; you would have made a fantastic teacher and the students would've been extremely fortunate to have had you. 😊

For the charger, I found a solution.Put a non-slip mat on the floor of the front trunk.You can place the charger near to the side wall of the trunk.This will be helpful also for the other instrument or boxes that you have for your work.By doing this,no material inside, can slip from one side to the other.What do you think about this solution?😊

A thing to consider, if you use the under seat bin and have passengers sitting in the rear, you might not be able to access those items. :)

The prototype showed storage in the triangle sections above the rear wheels that was accessed from the outside. I'm guessing you don't have that?

JT, I appreciate your content as always. However - I feel like for $100-120k Tesla should provide a $75 piece of molded plastic (marked up to $250) for under the seat. This is like extra fees on airlines - they think we are not smart enough to know its happening, but it is. Cmon Tesla - just be honest...

A useful addition would be a hard plastic cover to protect the rear screen when the rear seating area is being used for storage of tools and the like.

Alot of golf bags? not sure what kind of golf bags you use but that would only hold 1 of my golf bags at best.

You know what it needs? A spare tire and a place to keep it. Otherwise, I can't wait to get mine.

I'm hoping that future revisions of the CT will have vastly more built in storage. There is SO much wasted volume in this truck. The doors, the enormous windshield greenhouse, the bed sides are barely being used. I bet they could get at least 10 cubit ft. of storage in all the recesses.
