dont get me wrong i like hub motors for speed and some commuting as long as there's no steep hills. i switched to a mid because of weight and i get alot less flatts with a mid, and it;s way easier to change a tire
@@nickrinkel1423 Why did you go with this hub drive kit when you could get the Bafang BBSHD and it is a way cleaner installed kit without all the adjustments you you to do on the one you have. oh and did I mention is is less expensive too.
@@shockadellick cyc has alot more torque because of the straight cut metal gears, the bafang is quieter but half the torque that cyc has. but like i said cyc is louder and the bafang is quiet. if extreame offroad/ hills are your thing then cyc if you like street then bafang for commuting. but i love the noise so it doesnt bother me to let people hear that im comming just a little bit.
@@shockadellick also the bafang hangs down under the bb and is common to hit the motor on all sorts of stuff, the cyc is tucked up tight and you can even mount the motor in the trangle part of the frame
@@shockadellick 68mm has chain alignment issues, but you can use 1mm spacers, just because cyc only sends you a certain amount of bb spacer, request that they send 3 extra 1mm spacers. fits a 73mmbb with 1 spacer.
it was rubbing against the mount not the roller, and the screw that held the roller also held together the motor and gear box, i didnt want stress on that bolt that hold those 2 pieces together. also no bouncing and flex in chain.
You probably dont give a shit but if you are bored like me atm you can stream all the latest series on InstaFlixxer. Been binge watching with my brother for the last couple of days xD
