This is a review of the CYCLENBATT 100Ah 12 Volt Mini Lifepo4 Battery. I am very impressed with the tiny size and it has a low temperature sensor. On Amazon: amzn.to/3XpfsKg 120 volt AC to 12/24 Volt Charger: amzn.to/4ertm4C Ecosonique Portable Solar Panel: amzn.to/45vKRNd I make a small commission if you buy through my Amazon links -thank you! #cyclenbatt #offgrid #lifepo4battery
Received one of these batteries yesterday. I was amazed that it was able to run my 20 cu. ft. Whirlpool garage refrigerator for 24 hrs. 15 mins. and still held 12,9 volts which should be about 20% of a full charge. Several other brands of larger ( group 31 ) size LFP batteries would only run that refrigerator about 20 hrs. Amazing power in such a small light form factor battery. I would highly recommend these Cyclenbatt mini batteries to anyone for any purpose. They have the right stuff!
Hey Lamar Happy Father’s Day’s sir👊🏾 thank you for inspiring me to go solar 12 years ago and I been at it ever since. The first video that inspired me was how to have a homestead with no utilities 😊
I was caught off guard by a sudden severe storm last year and my big battery was only charged to about 50%. So I had to quickly figure out the badly translated MPPT manual and hook up every panel I had. I was using 10 gauge cables to and from the controller so I was only able to get 325 watts....and then clouds started rolling in...of course. But I had air conditioning from 3am until 6pm and turned it off and used 3 small fans to get some rest. Battery voltage had dropped to 11.6 volts under load from 13.1 v. I upgraded to 8 gauge cables this year. I`m afraid to attempt series panels because I can`t understand the manual. My battery was 1200 new and I`m not risking it. I have a brain injury so this stuff is very difficult for me and when I ask others to help me everything they say confuses me. All the weird settings are so confusing that I only use my solar if I have no other option. And I don`t know if the settings are correct for long-term use. Why can`t they make an MPPT controller FOR 12v LiFeP04 batteries with simple pre-set proper and safe numbers? Why? Just plug and play?
The Cyclenbatt Mini is $134 on Amazon today, while they have another larger one for ~$170. _Both_ claim to be 100 AH batteries, except the dimensions of the larger one work out to ~658 cu in, while the smaller "mini" is only ~400 cu in. The larger one costs more, so what's really going on here?
I need to get a larger one for our Louisiana hurricane season. My 300ah one has been a blessing for my tiny window ac. But on very hot days it can only run it about 12 hours without recharging but either way I need a 2nd really bad. I`m a bit worried about the cheap ones though from new companies.
@@solarcabin My 300ah is Ampere Time, the Li Time company. I researched a lot before getting it. But their batteries are expensive. I saw some 300ah for only 500. I`m scared to get one.
@@solarcabin Currently I use an EcoFlow Delta 2 1080w system with a 1080w backup battery. I power it up with 4 100w solar panels. (Lately I’ve been having to use the generator quite a bit ‘cause the panels just aren’t giving me the power I need). I’d love to have you take a look at it sometime and see what your thoughts are! However, it’d be a good idea for me to possibly buy this battery, the charger, and then an inverter for a backup system. Thanks for the recommendation!
Hey, have you done any shingle roofing before? I have about a 6 foot patch of shingles that came off my roof that I need replaced. I would be happy to give you some new LFP batteries in exchange for some work if you are interested. Stop down and I will show you the roof.
@@solarcabin Odd, I replied, but it didn’t go through. I sure have, and happy to help! I can swing by Thursday or Friday morning (around 9am-ish) when I head into town! Send me over an email and we’’ll exchange #’s!
As I am typing this, I’m currently on internet b cause the power is out but my new cyclenbatt battery and 450 watt inverter is able to run my starlink. #Helene. Thanks for recommending this small battery
