what if his eyeballs just shot out holograms of men kissing? Would professor X still enroll him then? If his mustant power was just eyeballs that produced scenes of men kissing other men? Would professor x be like, "wow. you're enrolled" if that was his power? Like the images wouldn't do any harm. But they'd be super clear and nothing could stop them? Like no eye covers? Would he turn his school into a research facility to try and figure out a way to stop the mankissing hologram show? Or would he just have scott constantly shooting out gay holograms?

For those wondering, Cyclops powers are not exactly "shooting lasers from his eyes", his eyes connect to a dimension that is pure energy so opening them is like opening a portal to that dimension and the energy just comes out.

I met the actor who played Alex Summers of all places at a Arcade place in Little Toyko, California in 2017. He was a extremely nice guy, he bought me a round of beers and we played OG Xmen game. Before parting ways. I still talk to him sometimes. We don't talk about our success we just catch up, I think thats why we remained friends. I think he enjoys the fact he doesn't talk about work, we just met before he got famous and we continue to treat each other as equals. He knows I don't need anything from him.

When Cyclops shoots his laser here and when he frees the kidnapped allies in Stryker's institute, red energy can be seen around the area he shoots at, implying a red type of heat, but this should not be, as Cyclops' laser is purely a concussive force - Like a water hose's energy.

It’s kind of annoying people complaining about how his optic blast is producing heat because of the tree and shit. But this is purely because of all the friction happening at extremely high speeds which cause heat and in turn laser the tree in half. (Edit) Also the constant friction of the optic blast itself would also probably cause even more heat due to the blast being a pure concussive force so it constantly shooting long rage would probably end up being a mix of a concussive heat blast.

this is a desperate rationalization. if you've ever worked with a saw before you know you get friction heat when your cutting instrument is struggling to cut. A concussive blast that cuts this easily would produce no friction heat. it's like a knife through butter.

I like how Scott and Jean first argue about him watching where he is going, but then after seeing his laser beam eyes and him not being able to control them when he opens his eyes she realizes that he is struggling like her to control his powers, and when Scott gets his glasses later in the movie and he can see without blasting anyone he bonds with her about not controlling their powers.

Love Tye Sheridan as young Cyclops, but too bad just like James Marsden aka Cyclops he didn't get enough justice and no origins to how he became a leader of the X-Men especially when he was sidelined for Jennifer Lawrence's spotlight as Mystique. This doesn't make sense, here Xavier is saying to cyclops, "if you decide to stay". Then cyclops asks if he is expelled, after destroying the tree But in the cartoon, Xavier says he knew Scott would give his life for other mutant's. But this shows cyclops did not care to be in the school.
