Honestly them deleting the arcade scene from apocalypse even makes dark phoenix worse, because we didn’t care or know enough about Jean or even Scott during the events of that movie, so I could care less what happened to them. Dark phoenix still would’ve been terrible, though.
This film really should have focused on the new mutants (Jean, Scott, Kurt and Jubilee) as well as Apocalypse and his horsemen. Xavier, Mystique and Magneto took way too much time. Also did we need Stryker there?
True, maybe if they left in the scene between Alex and Scott, as well the mall scene with Scott, Jean, Jubilee and Kurt it would have given the film more of an ‘80s vibe. Also they could have saved the side plot with Stryker for another movie.
Yep it really feels like everything between the school explosion and the final battle was added last minute. Just shoved in there to sneak Wolverine in. Would’ve liked more of a split team and seen Jubilee and other students manage to get to the others in the xjet and show a mass of students come to save the professor
@@michaellucejr.6374 But people love wolverine we need more wolverine why isn't this about wolverine. Fox execs: "When wolverine isn't on screen people should be asking 'Where's wolverine'"
Bryan should have left these in...or put out in a extended cut. He said he's not into 'cuts' but he should. This film would be better if the were in...👍🏻💯
AHG, the commercial center scenes were orgasmic, VERY COMIC ALIKE, teenage mutants going to shopping tryting to "fit" as normal humans, this aspect would have given so much realistic vibe to the "epic action generic movie" they released, I hope we see this kind of stuff in the upcming x men movies
In this movie, they should have focused on the newer mutants; Jean, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Storm & Jubilee. The horsemen should have been Prof X, Magneto, Mystique & Beast who were under mind control by Apocalypse. Also, developing Jean + Cyclops as a couple.
@@kkplaysgd not enough. I was expecting her to be a main character and instead she was just another cameo and this time a cameo that made no sense because she was in the later movies. That implies her character never ages.
@@Teatime7771 Obviously not enough, but we also can't expect every fan favorite mutant to have a balanced screentime in the movies the team is massive, someone needs have a minor role in the story. If you think about it, Jubilee, Angel, Wade Wilson, Yukio were all born in a different time in the new X-Men timeline. I don't know how the events of Days of Future Past could have changed that, but somehow it changed.
