I did the same install on my 2021 390 RE as one of my first upgrades. Well worth it and easy to do. I also had the issue of the bulb not being positioned correctly, took it back out and got it locked in vertically per the manuals notes about the reflector and it lights even better as a result so I think the difference and performance will be even more dramatic once the bulb is positioned correctly. I actually installed this on my oil injected 2023 200RR with zero issues. Not sure why Beta said it wouldn’t work. I just got the rectifier and everything is perfect.
Any idea if this will work on my 21 2T (200rr) Where I deleted the oil injection? Pump is unpluged and replaced with a module that stops speedo from showing error.
Hey Good Morning! Thanks for checking out our videos! The rectifier is just for the 2 stroke models in general. The Beta website shows that the oil injected bikes will not work with these headlights.. I have not yet tried it myself tho.. I assume they are correct. Enjoy the ride, Jared
Question, so cut the rubber boot around the fan on the bulb so the fan is in the open air? Or forgo the rubber boot altogether? Will the build overheat with the rubber boot installed without cutting? Thank you for your time and guidance...
Good Morning, It has been a bit since I shot this video and we will actually be doing quite a bit more headlight testing as we prepare for the 24 hour challenge this summer. The rubber boot is nice for the stock headlight to keep the debris out but I think there is a little fan in the Cyclops bulb that might need air flow rather than the boot. So my suggestion might be to loose the boot. Enjoy the ride, Jared
Good Morning! The problem with the new RS LED light is the way in which it mounts to the bike. They use a metal bracket that is also used to hold the Voyager display. The standard RR models just use the rubber band style clamps around each fork tube. I have not yet tried it to see what we can come up with. My suggestion is to give us a call and try one of these Cyclops bulbs. I think they are just as good as the new stock RS LED lights! Enjoy the ride, Jared
Is there any improvement in the led light for the 23 500 RRS I just bought one and it’s not that great it seems to shine a bit low and I didn’t see any adjustment???

Good Morning, I have not yet tried that. I know that the 2023 headlight mask mounts WAY different and would require quit a few different pieces to make it work. There have been a few customers that have given me a list of parts to order so they can make the switch. I would assume they have all worked out as I have not heard otherwise! Enjoy the ride, Jared
maybe using a relay and get the power for the bulb directly from the battery... but I dont see whats the problem on the oil injectes bikes and why the bulb should not work.
I agree with what Daniel said, you could run a power source right from the battery and add a switch on the bars like normal. They said the oil pump is what causes the light to flicker. I am no electrical expert so I will stay out of the explanation! Enjoy the ride, Jared
