I doubt he feels obligated to anyone. He will do it if he wants to and thinks he can do it. I ain’t ever heard of an athlete doing shit because of the fans. That’s not a strong enough motivator.
Denis Cyplenkov is a great sportsman as John Bryzenk, but he should sit this one out trying to chase Levan because it's too risky. He won't be able to recapture his prime condition without risks.
Denis nailed it, everyone who had knowledge in armwresling knew that Levan is winning no doubt, but let the match happen and make some money from the fanboys. In the end the perfect business opportunity for some organizers of the sport bets.
Anyone who was dumb enough to believe Devin was even stopping him really should feel ashamed Devin didn't even look big he looks skinny still and even when he fought half Thor his face just looks aged he can't hold a candle too lavon
Gotta admit those newbie fans Devon dragged in did get on a lot of people's nerves with their ignorant talks about "size doesn't matter," "endurance beats strength," and "Devon's a nattie."
Very nice video I enjoyed hearing Denis thoughts on the match. He is a smart guy and breaks things down well. It was an exciting match-up regardless of outcome or strength differences because of Devons will and fight we all knew he would bring to the table. Even tore and injured he conpeted against that kind of power. He did great and gave it his all. Be proud Devon and also Levan. It was a success. Not a scam. If you knew the outcome (fans)or thought it was a bad match-up you should have bet your money appropriately or not bet at all.....gamblers know the risk.
Lol! I was ready to bet all my property on levan! Reason is simple, levan is young & devon is old! + beating MMT means nothing coz even schoolboy beat him 😂
Excellent analysis on all points, great to hear Denis' take. I am with him on rooting for Larratt not because I thought he might win, but to see at least an interesting and inspiring defeat. Instead it looked like Levan could have taken the entire top 5 lol
Спасибо автору за видео. Хотелось очень услышать мнение Дениса после матча. Нашёл только у вас. Супер. Надеюсь что Ден вернёт свою форму прежнюю и покажет настоящий олд скульный арм
Denis Cyplenkov simply rooted for Devon Larratt because he knew he was the underdog and had no chance. He knew, if he acknowledged him, Devon would try harder and give everybody a run for their money despite him losing. Huge marketing tatic and exposure for the sport. And quite the spectacle it was. This match also revealed a lot of details to Denis Cyplenkov, who was observing/conducting recon on Levan Saginashvili.
Great explanations. All the world want to see Mr. Cyplenkov get back in shape and get a Titan match with Levan. I will always root for Mr. Cyplenkov. A dedicated men
Denis looking good, after the health complications in my eyes it looked like had aged 10-15 years overnight but now he's looking healthy and you can clearly see that he's getting his shape back and looks younger. Happy to see that he is taking his time and doing it slowly vs throwing things into overdrive with skittles in turn jeopardizing his health further. I look forward to seeing him conquer the giant :-)
Such an intelligent and analytical arm wrestler denis cyplenkov really is! I didn't expect this from him!... We all know he's a phenomenal arm wrestler, but at the same time at least I didn't know he explains things in such a detailed and balanced way. When he said some business man wanted to make money out of this fight, it really showed his concern for devon. I also rooted for devon and am a huge fan of him, but I totally agree with denis in all of his points. And yes, whatever devon did after the first round, all that trash talking, that wasn't needed actually. I have never been a fan of devon's trash talking, in fact I love the older version of larrat in which he doesn't do a lot of talking and focuses more on winning the match, without king's move actually! Whatever... Still devon remains an exceptional arm wrestler nonetheless, and yes denis if he wants can give a great coaching to the budding arm wrestlers!
I remember brzenk mentioning at one point that the villainous trash talk devon adopted a few years ago doesn't suit him, that he looked better as he did previously, like superman, with his opponents' strength bouncing off of him like bullets
For all of Devon's trash-talking, it is hardly ever personal. Devon and Levan are both friends. Trash talking will always increase the interest in the match.
@@HyzersGR No, not definitely... It makes the match interesting upto a limit, and after that it becomes inappropriate and unnecessary. So many people, including the past and present, top professional arm wrestlers will agree with this point.
Levan warned Devon not to do the king's move. In Round 2 the latter did exactly that, and caused his biceps to be torn by the former. Can't say he wasn't warned.
If I remember correctly it tore at the very start of round two, he was exerting to try to get levan to false start or something then it got torn through
I agree with most of what Dennis said. It was a true underdog story and who wouldn't want to bet one Larratt winning just one round. It was a lucrative match but it was also the first true West Vs East match is what made it such a memorable event. Most of the world had Levan to win but many doubted a 6-0 sweep including myself. When it comes to super matches, weight really plays a roll not just strength like in the lower weight divisions.
Just strength plays a role. And technique if the opponents are close in strength. The weight ... for coincidence now the best is a huge person. It was not always this way and it will not be always in the future. There are bigger dudes than Levan but they can't win in a local armwrestling contest. That means weight doesn't matter, strength matters.
@@bestopinion9257 you both are stupid to ignore "Age factor"! Devon is 46 yrs! Probably coz you believe that men reach their prime when they are 45+ as preach by Redpillers 😂
@@bestopinion9257 weight matters..but not just „useless“ weight (fat)…Levan has tons of muscle mass! Look at Corey as example…has a lot of weight, yes, but not necessarily the weight you need… So yes, weight does matter, because a part of the weight -> strength
I love Denis. But Denis is not an OG. He hasn’t been in the near as long as John. John won his first world title in 1983. Denis was 1 year old at the time.
OG? 🤣🤣🤣 Even Devon has been doing it longer than Denis. Many, many people have. Lupkes started arm wrestling in 1974...6 years before Denis was even born. No one who started mid 2000s and flamed out a decade later is an "OG".
@@pawanpathak7564 So you’re seriously going to say Denis had more and harder fights in his career? You better check into rehab. Whatever drugs you’re on done fried your brain.
Mr Denis we love you and you were the strongest arm wrestler during your prime and may the almighty God bless you with health again and you enter into the sport again.
Denis is such a likeable guy you cant help but root for him to get better!! Stay safe and strong champ hope to see you compete again soon💥👊👍🏻🙏 Edit Denis needs to have a RU-vid channel:)
You can see in Denis eyes when he watch the fight. He is sad he is missing armwrestling so so much. It is very sad to watch i hope he come back if it’s possible and doctors allow him
My only problem with this video is Denis never mentioned if he will fight levan in the future since levan challenged him basically that his goal is denis cyplenkov is the only guy left to complete his legacy also brzenk if he ends up beating all the guys haha
@@justsomeguy4260 I'm afrajd you are right since denis here looks small vs his past self and not motivated since he has nothing to prove and challenging levan would ruin his legacy but more important his health.
It will probably happen anyway as a legacy kind of match at some point even if Denis is not in good shape. It would be pretty sad to see someone toy with Denis tho. I’d want to see him in his best shape again, but at the same time I’m concerned about his health. Only he knows what’s best for him, we will see
@@altair227 he did talk about this in another video. But he said he tries to gain wright slow and see how he feels. He can't decide after 1 month, 2 weeks of training
Love all these guys, and really pray we get Dennis vs. Levan in the future if it is possible for both to be at full health. That is Godzilla vs. Kong! HAHA
