In this video we will be discussing life post-cystectomy and some tips on living a normal a life as possible.
This is a series of videos about Bladder Cancer. There are five videos in this series dealing with all aspects of the disease, from initial diagnosis through all the tests and different treatment options to living with and beyond Bladder Cancer. We will be interviewing both clinicians about the clinical aspects and also patients about their experiences, feelings, and fears.
This project was started by surviving Bladder Cancer patients who felt that there was a need for more information to be out there for patients and to help them realise that there is help and support for them throughout their journey.
The project is being sponsored by Wessex Bladder Cancer Support and the urology department in the Bristol Urological Institute. Filmed by students at the University of the West of England and funded by a grant from Macmillan Cancer Care.
These videos can be ordered in a DVD format from www.wessexbcs.org
Produced by Helena Burden, Dick Hills and Nigel Bacon
