Cytotoxic T cells
Killer T cells, CD8+ T-cell
A type of T cell that expresses the CD8 surface marker. Recognizes foreign antigens presented on MHC-I receptors and subsequently triggers apoptosis or cell lysis of the presenting (infected) cell.

The MHC structure is incorrectly shown as MHC class II (alpha + beta peptides). MHC Class I should be an alpha peptide + a beta 2 microglobulin.

Indeed, your explanation was excellent. Regarding the relationship between MHC molecules and T cells, I was unsure. You mentioned that T follicular cells are produced by a strong interaction between T cells and MHC molecules. How much more force is required to generate the same as opposed to a typical interaction between an MHC molecule and a T cell?
