CZ Grips LOK Palmswell Bogies Grip Review

A review on LOK Palmswell grips. Big, hand filling, super aggressive G10 grips modeled after the OEM rubber grips. the trigger reach is still pretty good and the increased width across the back does a great job of spreading out recoil in the hand. Excellent choice for IDPA or USPSA. I wouldn't recommend them for carry. I recommend them highly. Available in a range of colors. The grips are well fit to the CZ frame with no perceptible wiggle.

I bought the blue/black thin bogies they are very aggressive and I like them. Keep up the great reviews.

I put the palmswell bogies on my 75B carry and they are working great. They work well on that frame. I like the blue black combo alot, and the zombie green as well. He does some cool patterns. I ended up using an Emory board to sand down the front of the grip it was too aggressive but now it's perfect. I enjoy your reviews. Thanks for continuing to post videos on CZ's 👍🏻

good stuff! I really like those grips too, they work better for me on my 75B than they did my SP01.

I just bought a pair of the Lok Palm Swell Bogies this last Friday, three days ago, right before I did the weekly steel match. I took the new grips off as soon as possible, because I didn't like them at all. The raised up part at the top was right where I would normally have my trigger finger, and it was sharp and irritating too. I don't know if I will try to return them or sell them or modify them. It was an impulse buy, because I have read such good reviews.

you can knock it down with an emery board to be more to your liking - when the grips are new they are sharp - your hands will wear them down with use.

@@TheHumbleMarksman Thanks, I will have to try to sand down the raised up part on the top right side. I read that you should be careful not to breathe that dust. I really like the factory grips, and just bought the Lok's because they had them at the store for $65 and I thought it was a good deal.

I have the checkered and ridgeback palm swell Lok Grips on all my CZs (SP01, S2, TS2, Full and Compact 75), BHP, 1911 A1, and Beretta. I have small hands and have no problem with double action trigger (BHP and 1911 are single action only) movement. Perhaps it’s the grip pattern and not the palm swell?

I'm thinking about LOK's palm-swell grips and hoping that it changes the trigger length on my Shadow 2. I'm wrapping a little too far around the single action pull for my liking.

That’s going to be affected more with how you seat the gun in the web of your hand than the grips, though a palmswell should help some

Are they seta little higher? The original rubber ones , the narrow part is a solid 1/4" to low to get a high grip. Top part of my hand (trigger finger) goes around the thicker top part of the grip.

They do taper toward the top more. The rubber grips on all of them are kind of lousy IMO. The Shadow 2 profile is my favorite. The owner is super responsive - they'll get you whatever info you need.

I bought a CZ 75 compact safety version and shot it reasonable well. Centered groups. Then I installed the Cajun Gun Works Pro Kit and thin profile Lok G10 grips as well as Dawson 3-dot night sights. Now I’m still grouping reasonably well but I’m shooting to the right. Any ideas? Maybe the thin grips affecting trigger reach and possibly promoting too much finger on the trigger in SA?

I would say check out my recent video on grip tips to stop shooting glocks left - they are universal and applicable to any gun - including CZs.

I am confused a little bit. You recommend them highly, but those didn't work out for you? A bit of a mish mash review, don't know what to think about it. I find my stock Shadow 2 grips to be too thin for support hand and I am thinking about buying palmswell grips. But your review kind of confuses me (and I do respect your opinion).

The palmswells are good - this video is so old I don’t remember what I said

@@TheHumbleMarksman thanks for the reply. You said in the video that you have issues reaching the trigger in double action. I think I'm gonna try the palmswells.
