There is way to much talent in this lineup to not be scoring runs consistently. Oli Marmol needs to go at this point. I’m done waiting for them to get it figured out. Sonny Gray gave up only 2 earned runs with 12 k’s and we still lost the other day. It’s pathetic.
Even though we got the WIN , I still wanna remind everyone that Kyle Gibson is the pitcher who gave up 4 BACK TO BACK TO BACK TO BACK homeruns to the Cardinals 2 years ago in the 1st inning. He always sucks in the 1st inning. I was upset when I heard we picked him up. Hopefully he'll continue to get better.
DANG SON !!!! Folks, Manager of the Year Oliver Jose Marmol and his St. Louis Cardinals (the GREATEST team in the league) take a CRUCIAL series victory. NO DOUBT the squad TAKES the NL Central, MAKES the postseason once more and in six/seven months (depending on when the games are in October/November), HOISTS that TWELFTH Fall Classic championship! In the bottom of the sixth inning, things got GOOD ... First, co-Most Valuable Player of the League Nolan James Arenado, the 33-year-old from Newport Beach, California, gets the offense rolling by SMASHING an RBI single to left field, driving in Brendan Michael Donovan! Then, a teammate comes home on the CLASSIC wild pitch. Nolan Brian Gorman, still scorching. In the bottom of the seventh inning, the 23-year-old from Phoenix, Arizona PUMMELS an RBI single to left field, bringing in co-Rookie of the Year Award winner Masyn Blaze Winn! Lars Taylor-Tatsuji Nootbaar, doing SPEECHLESS things. In the bottom of the eighth inning, the 26-year-old from El Segundo, California WALLOPS an RBI double to right field, sending Nolan James Arenado and co-MVP Paul Edward Goldschmidt home! A TASTY #SCTOP10 double play in the top of the ninth inning to END THE GAME as first baseman Paul Edward Goldschmidt FIRED to shortstop Masyn Blaze Winn who then HURLED to pitcher Ryan Dalton Helsley. That SHOWS the STL is not only the best offensively, but defensively, too! Ladies and gentlemen, Kyle Benjamin Gibson put on a CLINIC this afternoon! The 36-year-old from Greenfield, Indiana gets SERIOUS with SIX strikeouts. MAD PROPS go to Joseph Able "Jojo" Romero, Andrew Michael Kittredge and Ryan Dalton Helsley, all part of the best bullpen in the league, for the FEROCIOUS defense! TIME TO FLY !!!!! #12in24
@@teambeardo8816got swept by our division rival right before that and beat a usually shitty Arizona team. I’ve watched this team in person 3 times so far this year and they just suck. If the bullpen don’t suck the starting pitching sucks, if that don’t suck it’s the offense. Can’t exactly win games consistently if the entire team is inconsistent.
