I just had a special one shot ( with rewards for the regular game) Halloween special . homebrew ofcourse. the players woke up in weird diferent bodies ( diferent race/ class) at the top of an obsidian tower in a bleeding void. And had to rush to the bottom to avoid being devoured by an eldritch horror, that began consuming the tower from the top. I based the tower on the themes of the closed chakras. ( didnt tell them) the level that was basically an escape room had them terrified.

@@silentdrew7636 even regular non dire wolves can't be rode (and wolves are huge). Their ankels will break from the weight. You'd have to be very light to ride a wolf. Maybe at most 15 lbs, maybe less.

@@crystalthunderheart8895 a 5e wolf is a medium beast with a strength of 12, which gives it a carry weight of 180 pounds. So any halfling or gnome can ride it without issue. That just leaves the question of how the dog feels about being ridden, which again depends on the dog.
