Excellent summary! (It is very amusing to me to see the wonky asymmetrical AI generated tusks on the Ice Giant Shaper immortalized for all time in miniature form.)

what makes it funnier is the minis are gonna be the only thing that shows that cause they're getting the artwork redone

Do we know the wonky tusks are from the AI or from Ilya Shkipin? 'cause his style naturally has a lot in common with AI art. 😂

@@thecuriousboardgamer He showed his original sketch before the AI adjustments. It wasn't wonky like that in the sketch. Fantasy AI art processes are notorious for being asymmetrical.

Been lucky enough to get my hands on 4 of the promo packs so far. Lord Soth, Strahd, The tin soldiers, and the Harregan. Still trying to get the casters and Takhisis. The goliath trickster in this set hands down one of the best looking minis they have done in a long time. Chef just looks great!

Green orcs = warcraft. warhammer, pathfinder - Gray orcs = D&D - and since it is D&D set why would you be surprised?

There really is no "wrong color" for orcs, a fictionalized fantasy race. I actually like the dark gray color of D&D orcs, however WotC's, D&D orc minis were often painted with a purple hue. Some of WizKid's most recent orcs are now often being depicted in hues of blue, such as the ones in this set, and I'm unsure of what D&D artwork has inspired that color choice. While blue and purple orcs may not be my preference, I am also a fan of all things orcish and am just happy that they continue to make orc minis. With the quick dab of a paint brush, I can always make alterations so that a mini matches my preference :)
