I'm hoping Elkhorn is going to be in the book, the blue haired dwarf was my favourite from the D&D action figure line. You'd think that Hasbro would make a new D&D action figure toy line. I don't know if the rights to the original action figure characters are available, but it'd be nice if they'd include the characters from the '80s.
@@bryanabbott6169 Elkorn is in the Wizkids Premium Minis set for Witchlight , so I'd imagine he's in the Book. Valor's Call Set: Strongheart , Elkhorn, Ringlerun, Molliver, Mercion League of Malevolence: Kelek , Skylla, Warduke, Zargash, Zarak
Warduke was the Boba Fett of '80's D&D - a guy who looked so insanely cool that he commanded attention. Half-armor makes sense if you imagine a gladiator-inspired combat style, where the shield covers his unarmored side, and he's quicker on his feet without the extra weight and bulk of armor he doesnt need. Plus maybe its hella hot where he operates!
Always go for the helm of dread! Playing a life cleric? Nothing says "I bring the healing light of the Morning Lord" like evil glowing eyes! Put one on your horse too. Nothing ominous about that. It's like lanterns on a boat at night, it's there to prevents traffic accidents! Be safe, wear the -evil looking- safety helmet.
Every time they expand Barovia, he gains another level in lichdom. On the plus side, he's probably a baelnorn because he just wants to produce more content for the D&D world as a whole community.
I thought this looked OK, but I was going to skip it, until Warduke showed up. I have about half a dozen stat blocks for him of various levels. He shows up in all my games. I'm buying several copies for me and my friends. Thank you for bringing him back.
Perkins' "seeding" stuff into books. It is tradition when he speaks such things for me to respond: STOP TEASING US AND JUST GIVE US SPELLJAMMER DAMN IT!
If Chris ever reads these comments I hope he sees how bad *I want a Spelljammer book to come out soon* lol.. perhaps with a reference to a mad wizard captain with red hair named Zenuule
Well here I am enjoying my morning coffee , I was on the fence about picking up The Wild Beyond the Witchlight , until watching your interviews with Chris , definitely has changed my mind on picking it up . Thanks , looking forward to many more reviews, thoughts , ideas , etc etc .
Need some updates for divine ranks as soon as DnD enters its 6th edition, for example: 0:A quasideity. 0-5+:A demigod. 5+-10+:A lesser god. 10+-15+:An intermediate god. 15+-20+:A greater god. 20+-25+:An overdeity! 21+-30+:An overoverdeity!
Is there anywhere to stream the D&D cartoon currently? I know there was the 24 hour twitch thing a while back, but I'm hoping to show it to my daughter before we run Wildbeyond the Witchlight.
I was completely letting this book go past. Then they say 80's cartoon roller coaster, War Duke, & the rest of the old figures. Damn it, here's my money. Cheers to Marketing brains.
