D.R. HORTON IS THE ONLY BUILDER THAT OFFERS BLOCK ON BLOCK IN THE TAMPABAY AREA 

My Dr Horton started cracking on the second level severely within the first year . They said it was normal due to the soft Florida soil . I burned down the house and they gave me a gift certificate to Texas Roadhouse. I’m happier not having that headache anymore

D.R. Horton does have that reputation....I had one of their homes...but we stopped by multiple times a week to check the process and by doing so you can catch a lot of things...I did this with the other homes we had built....I recommend doing this with any builder...

They hate D.R Horton homes out here in Tennessee. People reporting a lot of issues with them.

D R Horton is a rip off! I know 3 ppl got ripped off fooling with them.. over charging and cheap materials, greedy and low down...

Best way to get exactly what you want is to build with a custom builder. Buy the land cash, then have your plans drawn up and find a builder!

I just bought a DR HORTON HOME the structure is good but the inside alot of issues broken A/C, BATHROOM FAUCETS PUT IN WRONG TILES ARE BROKEN ALREADY! TOO MANY ISSUES!! UGH I REGRET BUYING A DR HORTON WE BEEN HERE ONLY 30DAYS WERE SELLING NEXT YEAR 2024..

I purchased a DR Horton, and it was hell!

Their model homes are gorgeous. The problem is even if you paid for all the extras, your home would never look like the models. They are rude and disresctful to their home owners. DR Horton in the state of Texas is amazing. In SC, it's a nightmare. Just ask residents in Heather Glen in SC.

I do like the master suite.. the sitting area is everything

When buying a home from any national builder never use their lenders. Aquire your own real estate rep./ attorney. Upon new builds have everything in a binding contract and if possible hire a home inspector throughout the construction.

It’s a better built home and it can withstand a hurricane. People are more concerned with the appliances and cabinets versus the QUALITY. It’s crazy.

I love my Horton home in South Carolina. Needs a little work done on the place, but it is a good home.

Gotta have that brick 🧱 if the foundation isn’t right nothing else matters. I went with meritage homes here in Orlando and they were pretty good. Make sure to get a private inspector before closing.
