Men how are you im like a year working and civic sedan 1987 i installed already a 2000 engine and transmission. But i have a problem with the linkage and some electrical issues the car already star so I don’t know how install the linkage because they not working well
Put the old ef civic transmission in do 90+ in second gear 130 ish in 3rd depending on rev limiter setting, and 150 plus in 4th and 5th your looking at 200mph🤪. If your running boost you won't see a difference in acceleration specially if you run alot of street races and you won't have traction issues like you do with a lower gear on the street.
Shame about the Cam Cover, but I guess it’s an issue related to room in the engine compartment differing between LHD and RHD, since these motors were fitted to the jdm Civics. I’ll take some pictures of the engine bay in the LHD Euro Crx, which will be my parts donor, and compare them to your engine bay. Also, I’m looking into going with double Weber or Solex carbs instead of going with PGMFI, probably 45s or slightly smaller. I know you have Pierce manifolds in the US, but I’ve also looked at the Kameari manifold with the fitted throttle linkage, which seems to do the job well. Although, as I can see in your video, I need to measure beforehand to make sure I get manifold and carbs with an overall length that fits in between the engine and firewall. Edit: Again, thanks for all the 3G videos! Are you on Redpepperracing?
