Man back in the mid 2000s…. I used to exploit abilities like this for pvp to one shot everything…. This was one of those abilities, so was bone spirit, fists of the heavens…. It was so funny to stand there all calm and click once, and collect them ears lol

I've never understood the mentality of nerfing builds into unviability. They did the same thing even recently with the shockwave druid. No one will ever be going into those builds again now, so what's the point of even nerfing them if everyone was still just going to be playing a hammerdin anyway 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Shockwave Druid was broken it did massive amounts of damage and had like a 25 second stun, aaaand was AOE. Something had to give with that ability, and they could have chosen to leave it as is and rebalance it accordingly. But they chose to return it to it's original setup. You can't have a main damage ability, that is also an AOE Damage ability, that is also a 25 second stun it's too much.

@@GGMentor for sure, at least take the stun time down I'd argue to like a max of 8 seconds. But the damage is absolutely not worth anything other than one point into at this point. Not to mention concentration has never been intended to work with blessed hammer, yet they've never fixed that bug and it's been the most played build for 15 years. Bear has been by far the weakest of the druid builds with no AOE skills, and losing the ability to teleport, so nerfing it after accidentally buffing it with the bug has just gotten rid of the only reason you'd be playing a bear druid instead of a barb.

Could you please explain rupture charms are only available on ladder or they exist on non ladder too I have started a cold sorc on multiplayer non ladder and I really need a cold sunderer I thought is k for online but restricted for offline I would really appreciate your answer and no one clarified this, thank you and I would really appreciate your answer please

@@GGMentor that is so bullshit I play hamerdin and necrosummoner so I can go everywhere in the game I wanted to play sorc because the cold thing seemed fun with the cold charm, I don't have time to play ladder and I hate the idea to start over and over again I thought the rupture charms will be only restricted for offline but even they get them do to a loophole I really wanted to try other builds but it seems is not possible

Me? Probably not 😂 I seem to get endless enjoyment from the game. I think the near endless possibilities the game has offer a sort of always evolving puzzle. And my mind has always enjoyed solving puzzles

RIP. Old school d2 player here. Just got D2R leveled a bowazon and couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my guided arrow…. Worst change to a skill I’ve ever seen! Wanted to relive the 40/15 jeweled wind force bowazon with an inventory full of poison charms 😢
