I can't wait for them to participate in Eurovision 2023, where Daði sings about their child getting potty trained and entering kindergarten for the first time. Gonna be a banger!
@Manuel Castanon Just off the top of my head: Johnny Logan, Alexander Rybak, Lena, Dana International, Dima Bilan, Charlotte Nilsson/Perelli, Carola, Serhat, Valentina Monetti, Poli Genova, Elitsa Todorova, Sakis Rouvas and Donny Montell have all participated two or more times. I'm sure there are more, and that is not even getting into those who have failed to qualify after participating once. I'm not as familiar with non-qualified entries but Loreen comes to mind. So really the only thing stopping artists from participating more than once is having two good enough songs.
I'm so happy I found this video. Not because this is also a great song (it is, don't get me wrong) but mainly because it has finally answered my question as to why, in the ''think about things'' music video, the blue haired girl is depicted with long hair on her shirt; while in the video she obviously has short hair - they're reusing the same shirts from 3 years ago from when she still had longer hair! Now I can finally fall asleep without this question crossing my mind ever again.
2017: Failed to enter the Eurovision stage because they didn't get #1 in the national finals 2020: Failed to enter the Eurovision stage because of the pandemic 2021: Failed to enter the Eurovision stage because one of them got COVID *How does it keep getting better?*
For people wondering how a legend like Daði couldn't win, this was his breakout moment in Iceland. He was not a favorite before the contest, because he was a complete unknown, but his banger of a song got massive traction as soon as it was performed for the first time, and Iceland quickly fell in love with him. It wasn't enough to outdo the hype for Svala, who was the favorite from the start, but this was Daði's breakout hit.
I don't know why, but I am crying. I don't cry easily, so it's really weird how this song and video make me feel. I guess these are the tears of hope. I really do hope that one day I will be able to travel, meet new people and do other things that make me happy. And I hope that you're okay, whoever you are. We're all in this boat, so hold on and keep fighting. You can. Do your best and do it for yourself in the first place, 'cause you deserve it. You are much stronger than you think.
@@user-jd6cb1wg4kхах,ну,славян везде набьется под завязку) Беларусы подъехали )не,ну какая классная музыка, а не Евро,так и вряд ли б узнал о них вообще
It is amazing that after his victory with Think About Things, this song also has got some recognition. Both songs are amazing and I'm happy that he will enter the big stage in Rotterdam. Good Luck Daði & Gagnamagnið
When I first heard the song I liked it, but was unsure how it would work on stage - but this is just amazing! They don't take the song or the artist too seriously, and they really play with the awkwardness of Dadis vocals. This is how you make songs like this work, you make fun out of all it's perceived weaknesses but you do it with love! Even though I rooted for Svala I would have gladly seen this in Kyiv!
Second place , but hey Im still watching and honestly this should have won. The shy guy trying to connect to a girl that he likes. But he doesn't realy know how to act. The quirkeeness comes from that , and everything about it is brilliant.). The song sticks and you whant to listen again and again. The superfinal is the best version though, but its not on youtube, yet.
I'm 60 years old I was 20 in the 80s great music back then it's nice to see a band that actually is good instead of that s*** they play nowadays God bless you folks
@@darialark1396 😅😅😅 no problem in Russia you need lesser English than in other countries. In my country (the Netherlands/holland) you need to speak English in 70% of all the jobs.
Me :-) I think it's ok that they didn't win 2017 with this song. It is really nice, but their performance this year is much more catchy and has realistic chances to win the ESC.
Bardzo wspaniała muzyka. Niesamowity wokal. Bardzo charyzmatyczny. Gratulacje z wysokiego miejsca na Eurowizji dla całego zespołu. Serdecznie pozdrawiam życząc jak najwięcej takich i większych sukcesów. Edycja z Polski🤗
I was watching to Kings of Convenience's new song. Algorithms only thoug too appropiate to recommend me 10 years dance tutorial. One hour later, I'm still here, checking his videos.......
They are absolutely adorable! I'll be keeping an eye out for them in the future! (And yes, they were robbed when ESC2020 was cancelled! It was in the bag!)
This is like the anime where you hate that they added a new character to your favorite gang in the second season and you're in love with it by the end.
Just found this as they will compete for Iceland in ESC 2020 and got my attension. Unpopular opinion: I like this song way more than their new song. The electric riff and feel to this song is great! Reminds me of the band Röyksopp.
Lyrics It is awkward to say but I just saw you for the very first time And somehow I know that Soon I'm gonna make you mine But then you say hi I stare back with dreamy eyes Please don't look at me Because I can't wait to shine. I didn't know this feeling Was a feeling I was capable of feeling I know that you just met me now and I also just met you now but Is this love I say hi and time standing still I have forgotten how to do conversation You say hi again and I try to open my mouth but you stop me right away and say I know exactly what you're going through 'Cause I feel the same way I'm having no fun here anyway We should just get out of here It is awkward to say but I just saw you for the very first time And somehow I know that Soon I'm gonna make you mine I didn't know this feeling Was a feeling I was capable of feeling I know that you just met me now And I also just met you now but Is this love I didn't know this feeling was a feeling I was capable of feeling. I know that you just met me now And I also just met you now but Is this love
