DOBS....how dope was this!!! Man I had 2 pair of those Air Force 1's....check out the Guess Jean sets. I remember Naughty by Nature producing a album for them later on.
@@briansmith9959 Treach is the man , nobody ever brings up his name . The reason why rap has changed so much is it because the industry couldn't control the 90s rap artists there were two gangster for them , now look at all the tight shirt tight jean wearing a little girls oh, this is what they wanted nobody going to be scared of these little punks. Number one they can't rap and number twos are not gangster
@@fringeminority3224 You're G....man Treach was ill....no one brings up Wise Intelligent either. The M.C.'s back then didn't believe in dumbing down there craft You're right.
They were better than Kriss Kross with their gimmick of wearing their cross colors gear backwards😡 They sucked and I never liked Kriss Kross😡 These kids were underrated like the rotten rascals who were created by Naughty By Nature. Also the other kid group illegal were underrated.
@@henewcom50 when did Kris Kross ever wear Ceoss Color’s ? Why do y’all have to make up lies to accompany your point ? They definitely were t better than Kross Kross
Mistah Grizzly Yeah..Hip Hop return to his Original state: at the Underground. But "for the Mainstream" the REAL HH is dead: No DJs, No sampling, No scratches, No "edutaitment" and "conciouss".
90s kids were more advanced for their age and time that's why this era was considered THE GOLDEN ERA OF HIP HOP. 90% of the MCs actually put thought and skills to their beats and rhymes!
It’s never too late to discover Old School Music 🎶 that is Time-Less! Besides, it’s new to you & you can Live out this Classic Golden Age Hip-Hop Era Today in Your own way, to Keep it Alive! “SO, LET’S MAKE HIP-HOP GREAT, AGAIN!!!!” 🔥🎤🎧🎶🇺🇸🇬🇧🇦🇴🏳️🌈
Came here for “money growing like grass with the mass appeal” and I unlocked a middle school memory from the early 90s when there was the phase of teen rappers that were all doing a variation on “Scenario”. Imagine how spoiled we were that groups/songs like these were mostly seen as novelty acts.
Had this album and this remix taped off Power 99 back in summer of 92 when I just grad 8th grade. White kid from South Jersey who loved hip hop. Dope track-so mad when I realized it wasn’t on album. Album was ok-I give it 3 mics but then again these dudes were my age (14) when it dropped in 92 so much respect. Hope they know they are still respected by many
Wow can we bring back all the different vibes and styles of the 90's😩😩and How they from Philly but at the LIRR station on Farmers Blvd in Queens🤣🤣Love it
cant believe that as a 29 yr old i cant remember hearing this growing up in the 90s... god bless the internet & the chill ppl that upload dope shit!:):)
You don't remember it because this wasn't even remotely popular back in the day. Just because a song got released as a single doesn't mean it was successful
This was my favorite young rap group hip hop finally died I am 47 God spare my life I will be 48 August 31st I was born 1970 these young kid would rip the mainstream apart right now God Rest real hip hop
God I miss the days when hip-hop was hip-hop, MC’s made sense and were modern day poets. Guru, blaq thought.... anything produced by Pete rock or DJ Premier... There will never be artists like this ever again. Damn songs like this brings back memories.... Mix Tapes (Tony Touch...DJ Clue)...Growing up in Long Island or when I was in the Army in the mid 90’s!!! God I feel old
Aw man brings back memories ... I was in 8th grade when this dropped.. Still love it til this date i still gott my cassette tape .. The album was hard.. pause
I strike back with the mic and track When it comes to drums it's like I hyper-react My mind starts to generate words that penetrate Then I eliminate suckers who imitate Once again, I reveal the skill Money's growin' like grass with the mass appeal It doesn't matter; hardcore or commercial I'm universal, this says rehearsal The name's Qur'an, consider me a brighter man I'm climbin' charts like Spider-Man A legend in my own time, with the microphone I'm One of the world's most electrifyin' hosts I dust MC's off like an antique So, sit back and let this young man speak Sorry suckers, take a hike But for now, I'mma pass the mic
Same age as me and I was there for it all. Them ABC, Krissy Kross, Illegal, A+, Shyheim, vicious, usher, 702, subway, Tatiana Ali, made me proud. Loved them all.
I REMEMBER BACK IN THE DAY WHEN ME AND MY BOYS USED TO COMPARE ILLEGAL, KRISS KROSS AND DA YOUNGSTERS!!!!.. WISH THEY WOULD HAVE ALL COLLABORATED AND DONE 1 SONG TOGETHER
I love the interview from not too long ago with Redman and young m.a. he wasn't being critical at all but he made a point to tell her that in my day it was all about the lyrics. Any true hip hop fan knew exactly what he was talking about regardless of age or era.
One of my favorites of theirs... I see them now ... make a new album fellas .. y’all ain’t youngsta no longer... y’all grown now ... BLOW IT BACK UUUUUUUUUUUP!!!!
