That and if you romance Fenris in the end of the game, he makes you PROMISE him that you won't die. Which in Inquisition you can... and you can see Hawke apologies to Fenris by breaking said promise by saying "I'm sorry Fenris"

For as ANNOYING as Carver is, he and Hawke have a lot more funnier and touching moments than Bethany and Hawke imo. Carver and Hawke have to work at their relationship, and you see how much he cares through playing the DLC’s especially (taking him on Legacy broke my heart a little, I won’t lie). And to think, I let Carver die in the Deep Roads the first time round because he was annoying (I brought Anders as well, just ignored him)

@@asian435chen Oh, I'm fully in denial. The Warden in that worldstate is an Amell, there's no way she's letting Alistair stay there.

This is why Alistair is always king in my playthroughs. So , I can choose replacement Templar over Hawke to save Hawke and Alistair from fade in Dragon Age Inquisition. Win - win for myself in emotional department in choosing leaving someone behind in fade. I did it once with loss of Hawke and I hated it. So , I had made certainty that it never happened again especially since Hawke is either romance with Fenris or Anders who both would definitely seek vengeance justice against Inquisitor without doubt in my mind. Though , I could see Anders going into fade seeking Hawke and it might draw Justice back into fade spirit form from himself that leads to finding Hawke because of their shared emotional concerns for Hawke. It would be interesting if Justice spirit goes into Hawke to get him out of fade and how Justice doesn't become Vengeance within Hawke for Hawke doesn't have extreme anger issues like Anders storyline. I do know it's fanfiction yet it would be perfect solution all around if it had happened.

My first playthrough, the choice was Hawke or Loghain. Al was married to Anora or Cousland and Stroud was somewhere else. I will only ever give up Loghain or Stroud to the Fade. Varric is way too much one of my favorite characters to do that to and I invested WAY too much into my Hawke characters to give them up, lol.

Not sure what exactly causes it to trigger or not, but it's during the last conversation when you can ask Tallis if she wants to join you. I did choose to come with her to stop the Duke, did the DLC in act 3 after getting back with Fenris, and my Hawke's personality is humorous.
