We have tested quite a few. The hms1500 is probably the nicest that we have tested so far.

Thanks for the great video, keep it up. Very impressive pump. I moved into a house with one of these installed with a freshwater system. When switching on, it will pump at its set pressure for a few seconds, then switches off, turns back on after pressure drops, switches back on towards set pressure for a few seconds, switches off, and so it goes. I see no setting to fix this. It's like a pressure switch that switches off the flow when a certain pressure is opbatained. Any tips please?

Hi, It has a very small buffer tank so it does cycle a lot. Are you finding that it keeps turning on even though you don't have anything using water in the house? If that is the case, it could be that the non return valve is leaking or that you have a small leak in the house that is constantly using a little bit of water.

My mini box will run, obtain pressure, then it’ll max rpm and you can hear it’s not grabbing and pumping water till it dry runs. As soon as it alarms and dry runs I just hit the two buttons and it resets and bam, starts pumping water again. What could be the issue? It’s struggling to hold pressure. Makes me not think it’s a supply issue to the pump from my holding tank, seems like there’s a component inside the pump not allowing it to actually pump and push water or something??? Any ideas???

Hi, try opening the priming plug at the top and make sure that it is full of water as it sounds like air in the pump.

Very nice video. I have a three questions 1- I have three story building with 20 bathrooms , do you think I should go with DAB ESYBOX MINI3 or DAB ESYBOX ? 2- Will it be ok to have the pump ground floor or I should have it on the second floor with a water tank ? 3- What is the acceptable pressure for concealed Grohe showers ? On the ground floor should be fine but I think you might need an even bigger pump than the esybox. A typical shower draws 700lph so if you want to be able to supply 2 bar to the 3rd story you need to supply 4 bar at ground level. If you want half of the people to be able to run their showers at the same time this would be 7000lph at 4 bar, this is more than a esybox can do but is manageable with two. If however you are okay with only a quarter of the showers running then a esybox should work. The mini is too small and would struggle with three showers at that pressure.

I noticed how it was struggling with showers for a short pipes . I might consider a twin setup for EasyBox , mini won’t do the job. Thank you and have a nice day

Hi, As long as your tank doesn't run dry it should only be once.

@@FilterShopZa I am confused, the leaflet for the dab mini 3 says its self priming, unless there are different versions of the dab mini 3?

@@kadher_mh Yes, but that is why we test everything to see how it does. In our test the larger one self primed as soon as we removed the plug but the mini 3 didn't.
