This situation has been seen and played out many times before in music history. You have a singer with an amazing talent/gift who is also plagued with low self esteem or some type of personal, emotional or mental issue. The singer then meets a shady, controlling or manipulative dude that gets in their head and tries to control everything all the while slowly causing the stars image to be tarnished and reputation to fall apart and they have to work and fight to get it back on track. We’ve seen it MANY times - like with Florence Ballard and Tommy Chapman, Aretha Franklin and Ted White, Ronnie Spector and Phil Spector, Mikki Howard and Eddie Phelps, and Twinkie Clark to name a few. Latocha is going to look up and realize that all of this is her fault and her career is going to suffer beyond recovery. When she can’t go back to Xscape and her solo career doesn’t work out he’s going to blame her.

I think Rocky is shady af, I think he absolutely stole from Tamika and the group more than once. I think Tosha might not have known every thing he was doing at first but she knows now what he's about but she keeps covering for him. I think she always overcompensates for her low self esteem and insecurities by having that ridiculous, unnecessary entourage, and by letting Rocky get away with whatever just so she can feel loved, important and needed. And I think that's why she had her power trip in the 90's. (I will prove that I am somebody by any means necessary). And it's such a shame because she truly IS all that! She truly is beautiful, she truly has a rare voice; like epic! I mean like Fantasia, KeKe Wyatt, Whitney, like one of those BEYOND vocal talents. And I think deep down she's really sweet. But the world will never know and appreciate all of that until SHE recognizes all of that. Deep down, for real. I remember tiny was on a interview saying how the group eventually started forming cliques (tiny and kandi vs tocha and her sister) and they even fought in a limo.. I see exactly what she’s talking about with the cliques but tocha is a little too messy..a part of me feels like this is why kandi didn’t really want to be apart of revamping the group when they did the reunion tour
