DaC V5 - Remnants of Angmar 8: Goblin Betrayal!

Ive only played Angmar once as i dont like the evil nations. Only recruited humans and took on the Orcs straight away as part of a coping mechanism.

Jeepers, the casualty recovery rates in this campaign are insane. The value of Angmaran armies feels higher than most good factions because of it. Like, if they trade 2:1 with elves, they'll heal enough to where they actually traded 1:1 with them and still cost half as much. It's insane. They really did say, "What if we gave an otherwise average faction the feature of every single leader being a Blue Wizard". It really makes sense that chat chose this campaign to be completely populated with spin doctors, because every one of your soldiers seems to be a doctor, too!

Goblins suck…..lol. Fun to play as though, hard imo.

All this blaming and everyone is missing the root cause. Blame the Goblins, blame the Elves, blame Gondor... It's the same thing that caused anime; the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand!! Everything LotR was from Tolkien who thought up much of it (and the basis for it) in the trenches in WWI, which was from the death of Franz Ferdinand! Technically, we can go further back and furthest I can personally make direct connections to is the veneration of Jesus and therefore creation of Christianity. Without it, there would be no Eru Ilúvatar for the song of life and creation of the elves. It could be argued that you'd just need any religion, but without Christianity's obsession with a singular devil leading the singular hell, there definitely wouldn't be a Melkor to twist the elves into goblins.
