Even shooting arrows into the backs of the Knights of Arthedain cannot stop them from absolutely annihilating your units. Absolute Units. GOATs. Shows the difference in quality of the Descendants of Numenor and the rabble from the North. Great campaign tho! Love the vids

feels like the wargs were your MVP in this campaign. Warg skirmishers can be so multi-faceted. My personal feeling is the IC Halberds are the stars of the Angmar roster. They require a higher tier of barracks but their upkeep cost is not too bad and they replenish I think quicker than Gondorian Mid tier infantry so you can kind of spam them. Very difficult to lose a Siege battle with two units of those on the defense.

I think if I was to say what the best overall unit is into late game ii would be the IC halbs, pretty much good against everything and easily available.

I would argue the warg archers are the MVP units since any unit will hold the front line as long as you have a general because most Dunedin and Bree land units don't scare troops they shouldn't break unless either an army ability is used or the front line breaks.

Not any unit though, pikes held in so many situations where the hillman, thralls, angmarin infantry all failed since my quality is so low. The pikes were disproportionally good since I was against a far superior opponent. Also, I could say the cav is the mvp of every campaign, it is med 2 after all.

@@epmtotalwar The pikes just can survive longer than the other units really since throughout even the thralls thought pretty much to the last man, but then again sell sword general so.

I think the snow orcs have armor upgrades, hence the different look

Just checked on Gundabad snow orc spears, armour upgrades make no difference to how they look. I think they are just a different model, there are some units in the game that have different models even though they are named the same. The Marchwardens for Anduin come to mind as having a different model to Lothlorien.

I know arthedian knight are good, but even with the melee bonus from the weapon and the hall of the faithful they shouldn't of been able to melt though 1300 men in like 15 minutes wtf.

@@epmtotalwar agreed especially since the pikes and they were in formation too right meaning the knights should've been pushed off from them not to mention the chaff protecting the pikes too.

Had a problem like this with Trolls a I think I was Dunedain vs taking a Gobbo stronghold might have been rebels but killing the trolls was the main issue they just murdered most of my units while taking hardly any damage still won tho
