If I am remembering correctly this cover was done right after stuff started opening up after Covid: RM changed part of his verse to say, "Do anything to see half your face" because at the time even the people you could see (which were few) all were wearing masks so only halfway the face would show. Suga did his own lyrics again referencing the pandemic with the English translation for his verse being: "We’re now used to our routines taken away But still can’t give up living on We’re more worn out because we don’t know where this ends We’re an island we made ourselves because we couldn’t trust each other. Hope an end comes for this tiring pandemic virus Negative thoughts can sometimes be a minus I knew it wasn’t the end so I couldn't say bye When that day comes, will say ‘Hi’ like nothing happened. BTS definitely did the song complete justice and made it into their own 💜🙌 I love the original and this version both a lot!!

The cover of Coldplay's "Fix You" is also really good. There is a note that Jin hits that gives me chills every time I hear it just like Jimin's "somebody tell me why" in this one. I also absolutely love Tae in this video, and I love that not only can you hear his accent, but you can see it when he sings (Is hard to explain and I know I'm a little weird, but I absolutely love it).

If you remember the original, it was only the part that Nam (with a twist) sang. Suga and j-hope added their words to the song . Vocals were V and Jimin, and JK the low and Jin the high.

This song means so much. My cousin at the age of 19 right after we graduated was killed in a car crash as well. This song always played over and over. And my love for BTS makes me love this song even more. 💜

This was so good! All the members killed it and did justice to the original song. 💜 THEIR VOICES 🙌🏻 They changed some of the lyrics and it was related to their feelings in pandemic. The Intro that Namjoon did was perfect and the way Yoongi and Hobi changed the whole thing in korean with the new lyrics it's so good. Taehyung and Jungkook did such a good job as the base and Jimin and Seokjin went crazy with the high vocals. Also, the harmonirs in general were beautiful! It's probably my favorite BTS cover. Also, I really like the cover of Fix you and Perfect Man and the iconic remake of Comeback home 💜🔥

I'd never heard this version, the song it self was my late brothers favorite song. He died five years ago on July 3rd the family hosts a cookout to share stories laughs and tears, and his favorite music. I'll be playing this song this year. Also thanks for the Jimin joke... He's my bias only because his nemesis his a damn chair.

This was the only performance of "I'll Be Missing You," and they did it special for BBC. If you listen to RM's verse, some of the words were changed. Mainly "Just to see half your face." As well as Suga's and Hobi's verses were all about covid. And what it has taken from us. The reason for the cowboy outfits, it was during the "Permission to Dance" era, and yes, they did perform that to on the BBC special. You should hear they cover of Coldplays "Fix You" for MTV Unplugged. It is what got Coldplay's (well a friend of theirs) attention enuf to do a song with them called "My Universe." Since they just became ambassadors of Luis Vuitton in April of 2021, & this was filmed in July ‘21, they were totally dripped out in LV, possibly one of the first times since they became their representative! This was filmed back still during the pandemic. During that time they still had quite a few live filmed performances for various broadcasts. 🙏👍❤️‍🔥🥰💫✨
