Absolutely made a huge difference both in looks and in practicality. Gave the front a more aggressive and mean look 👍 But how would you rate vibrate/shake while riding?
I didn’t realize the OEM mirrors on the V4 didn’t fold! That’s good to know since I’m looking at getting a Panigale V4 in the near future. The new mirrors look great, how is the visibility while riding?
Visibility is horrendous. I have to really work to see my left and my right and I can't see behind me at all. The OEM mirrors I had a 360 view. I'm actually considering switching back.
You have to adjust them right. Which took me several rides. The mirrors are so concave that you have to push the lenses really wide inside the mirror housing. Now I love em!
The look is awesome with those mirrors! Looks aside, what are your thoughts on functionality? Just ordered my 2022 Panigale V4S today…so looking for good mods and really like the look of those
Nice! When is it going to come in? As far as the mirrors go, the rear view is the same as OEM except that things look a little bit smaller in the mirrors. It will take awhile to adjust to but things will be even closer to you than they appear to be in the mirror.
Any special tools involved? Maybe you could give a quick run-down on the install? I did just install a tail tidy on my V2 myself, but don't consider myself naturally mechanically inclined :)
I can but you have to adjust them well! I have then so I can see just a bit behind me. But the originals you can see much better. You just have to make sure mirrors are adjusted properly.
Nice vid! I just got these mirrors too. Did you use the original screws or the screws that came with DB race? Also, did you put that rubbery thingy at the top which came with the original mirrors?
I have literally just fitted the red carbon fibre versions and used the screws supplied by DB race, they are shorter and black so look better on the retaining plates. I had to remove the rubber footplate as they were for the original mirrors. The new screws were far too short to leave it in place. Well that was my experience anyway. New mirrors so much better than the originals! 😊
Hello. Very nice mirror and heel guards! Just a quick question: since the mirrors are shorter than the O&Ems, your arms and shoulders dont block your filed of view?
They are pricing. Roughly $550-$600 USD. Totally worth it to me, the rear view is the same as OEM except that things look a little bit smaller in the mirrors. It will take awhile to adjust to but things will be even closer to you than they appear to be in the mirror. The best thing is they don’t stick out far so now I can park my bike more safely in my garage and next to other bikes without damaging the very fragile mirrors. AND they look so much better IMHO.
