But those visions/dreams are literally a MIX of multiple different emotions and trauma and desires in Daemon’s head. And it’s all happening because there’s a WITCH in Harrenhall hexing Daemon. She has a doorway to Daemon’s head and that’s how she knows everything. She has been trying to distract Daemon and wind him down as much as possible. Alys is a very big character in the books, and quite evil. She’s a REAL witch

So satisfying to see her absolute lack of power over anyone in the Council. Maybe it's just because her book Counterpart is described as the Spearhead of Green Council in the Wake of Viserys Death but this scene is the epitome of Tywins words to Cersei. "I DONT DISTRUST YOU BECAUSE YOUR A WOMAN. I DISTRUST YOU BECAUSE YOUR NOT AS CLEVER AS YOU THINK YOU ARE"

Alicent is too on the fence. I learned a great line from Avatar 2 that symbolizes my issues with her character Her lambasting Criston Cole for "Restraint and Justice" when he knows what is needed right to cement her family's rule is harsh and brutal and cruel and Alicent is none of those things. The Greens tend to have more interesting characters tbh. Daemon is great and Corlys and Rhaenys are (or were) good, but the Greens have Aegon, Aemond, Alicent, Otto, and Cole. All of those characters and their interpersonal drama are far more interesting to watch on a scene-by-scene basis. The Blacks have a fun "scrappy underdog" vibe, but the Greens just have more drama.

He’s a victim of his own badassness. The writers probably need to keep him preoccupied while they build up the rest of the narrative

You want him to be on control in every situation that his in. Ask yourself why dont they show you that in screen you will find your answers
